Honasaki is the femslash ship between Honami Mochizuki and Saki Tenma from the Project SEKAI fandom.
Canon[]
Honami and Saki are both second-year students at Miyamasuzuka Girls Academy. Along with that, they're both in the same band, Leo/Need. Because of that, they interact often and know each other well. Honami is the drummer of the group while Saki is the keyboardist and composer.
Stella After The Rain[]
In Chapter 1, while in the school hallways, Honami and Saki happen to bump into each other. Saki attempts to give Honami a hug, however almost makes her fall over. Shiho ends up finding them as well, then pinching Saki's cheeks while Honami says she shouldn’t do that, however says Saki's face is funny. Ichika, Shiho, Saki and Honami then go to the SEKAI world. Once Ichika mentions Saki being late, Honami concerned asks her what happened, and Saki of course answers. In the second part, Saki says she has to go to work, and so Honami wishes her luck.
The third episode starts off with Saki recommending all of them to go to the observatory, Honami says she's heard of it, saying she was thinking of going. Saki calls her an Astrology buff, while Honami says she’s exaggerating. After Saki explains more, Shiho asks if that's the main reason she wants to go and Saki then gives Honami the nickname “Hona”, saying Shiho's being mean to her. Saki later on says the things Ichika comes up with are bizarre, while however Honami says Saki can't say that. Saki soon after says she'll practice diligently every day, however Honami says that's too much for her, Saki says Honami worries too much, saying she's fine.
In the fourth episode, Honami happens to see Saki, asking if she had soft tennis, which Saki says is true, then asking Honami to walk home with her. While the two are walking home together, Honami says her face looks flushed, mentioning she should check her temperature when she gets back home. Saki agrees to, and thanks her.
In the beginning of the fifth episode, Honami asks if she still has a fever, however Saki denies her statement. After they're done, Honami asks if Saki is alright, then quickly checking her temperature despite being warned not to. After Saki admits to having a cold, Honami tells her to sit down and brings her a cold drink then deciding to walk her home once she feels better. Once in Saki's bedroom, Honami apologizes for bossing her around. however Saki thanks her, telling her not to apologize.
Don't Let Doubts Hold You Back[]
In Chapter 1. While on lunch break, Honami was thinking about Leo/Need's practice after school today when suddenly Saki hugged Honami from behind, startling Honami. Ichika then said that Saki shouldn't throw herself at other people because She may hurt them, Saki's reasoning for her hugging Honami was that Honami is so soft and huggable. Ichika thinks it's not a good reason but Honami wondered if she's soft because she went overboard with apple pies.

Fanon[]
Honasaki isn't very popular within the Project SEKAI fandom, however is slowly growing more and more. Its fans especially appreciate the way Saki is affectionate towards and encourages Honami, and the way Honami takes care of Saki. It is currently rivaled by other Leo/need ships such as Shihosaki, Ichisaki, Ichihona and Shihonami. The ship currently only has a little less than 30 romantic works on AO3.
Ship Weeks[]
The first Honasaki Week was held on July 31-August 7, 2022, under the honasakiweek hashtag on Twitter. Themes for the first day were "memory or childhood," "past or painful" for the second day, "confession or date" for the third day, "astronomy or weather" for the fourth day, "AU" for the fifth day, "future or dreams" for the sixth day, and the seventh and final day was free choice/theme.
