Honeysuckle is the het ship between Kim and Basil from the Omori fandom.
Canon[]
The two were formely bully and victim, though Kim only tormented Basil for her best friend Aubrey. During the game, Sunny first discovers his childhood friend Basil talking to Kim, begging this one to help him talk with Aubrey so she can give him his Photo Album, which Aubrey stole. Despite Basil's trust that Kim would help him she declines and tells him that he's on his own.
Later on that same day, Sunny and Kel fight Kim and Vance in order to learn Aubrey's location to retrieve Basil's album, no matter if the player wins or loses the fight, Kim will help the duo and reveal Aubrey's localitation at the church, knowing full well that what they are trying is to help Basil. At the end, Kim stops tormenting Basil and is more of an ally to him now.
The next day, Basil is found crying in the secret spot surrounded by the hooligans, Kim tells him to stop making a scene. They try to convince him that nobody is going to do anything to him, that they just want him to leave. Kel and Sunny arrive to the scene and when Kel accusses the hooligans to be bullying Basil, she gets specially offended and tells them that they weren't doing nothing to him, that he just started screaming for no reason. Because Kel doesn't believes her she calls him a self-righteous prick and they fight. Then when Basil attempts to talk to Aubrey, he is later pushed down by Kim.
Though due to the little interactions, this makes the ship a rare pair. As for Kim being more of a side character, obviously Basil doesn't interact as much as he does with Aubrey or Sunny, basically major characters. The two have mostly differences when it comes to apperance though, Kim is seen to be dress more "manly" while Basil is more "girly". While, Kim is more of the bold, strong type Basil is the more shy, quiet type under most circumstances.
Both are also very close with Aubrey, or used to in Basil's case. Kim is Aubrey's best friend while Basil used to be a friend from childhood. The pair both have an of an "I" in their name. The two tend to be more different than similar though. It is also noted that Basil is likely far more dominant in the bedroom.
Lots of Honeysuckle shippers hope the two interact often in a new possible Omori game, however OMOCAT, the game’s creator, has stated that a sequel is unlikely.
Fanon[]
While this ship is not as popular in the fandom as ships it gained certain fame between people that ship Sunburn, since both Basil and Kim are Sunny's and Aubrey's best friends respectively, fans imagine Honeysuckle and Sunburn would go on double dates together. As this ship is a rare-pair not much is known about the fandoms opinion, but those who do know about it appear to have either extremely negative or extremely positive views, with little in between. This tends to be a crack-ship or a side ship in the fandom.
This ship has mixed popularity, being accepted by some fans of certain ships (Sunburn, Kelbrey and Heromari in most cases) but repudiated by a large majority of other ships and their fans (Sunflower, Kimbrey, Cactiflower, Stardust, etc.), and the first two being the most numerous and influential compared to Basil and Kim, means that Kimsil fans do not have the same opportunity for acceptance.
The ship has 92 works in the Archive Of Our Own. It achives a lot of fanwork, such as fanart, fanfictions and more.
The pairing is usually overshadowed the twos more popular ships namely, Kimbrey and Sunflower. The ships tend to overshadow Honeysuckle often, due to Honeysuckle being a rare-pair.
Due to Kim tormenting Basil, the ship is commonly disliked by a majority of the fandom. Fans can often see this as "unhealthy" or "toxic". Because of this fans of the pair tend to make AUs where the bullying never happened and the pair are either good friends or dating.
Another reason this ship is chosen is due to the belief by some in the fandom that Basil would be a good parent and as a result, needs some form of ship where he can impregnate another (however many bypass this via mpreg). This ship finds itself especially common among Rule 34 artists as a result of a similar factor - that they are more comfortable drawing vafinal penetration.
The pairing isn't popular in the fandom but manages to get support from the fandom. The ship is often shipped alongside with Sunburn or HeroMari.

- Kim's mother have a big collection of plants and bonsais, gardening is one of Basil's main hobbies (The other being the photography).
- Basil and Kim are Sunny's and Aubrey's best friends, both of them have done pretty questionable things for their best friends.
- Kim doesn't have anything against Basil and even ends up helping him, just like the rest of the hooligans they were only doing it for Aubrey.
- The ship name "Honeysuckle" comes from Kim's love for sweet items and Basil's love for flowers, and a Honeysuckle is a plant.
- Berly (Kim's dream counterpart) is the first one to notice Basil is missing after they play Hide and Seek and later orders Boss to let Basil go, calling him a "good-for-nothing scoundrel".
