Honks is the het ship between Harry Potter and Nymphadora Tonks from the Harry Potter fandom.
Canon[]
Nymphadora Tonks and Harry Potter first meet in 1995 when, as a member of the Advance Guard, Tonks is part of the Order's operation to transfer Harry from 4 Privet Drive to 12 Grimmauld Place. At the time of their first meeting, Harry is intimidated by the rest of the Advance Guard. However, he finds Tonks to be clumsy and funny. The pair immediately take a liking to each other, and Harry is particularly impressed by Tonks's position as an Auror as well as her Metamorphmagus powers. Tonks is impressed with Harry's Firebolt and tries to comfort him during his trying times with the Ministry of Magic. Adopting a big sister role for him, Tonks would greet him by saying "Wotcher, Harry". Later, during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, Tonks is among the Order members that come to the rescue of Harry and his friends. Harry is later relieved to hear that she will recover from the injuries she suffered at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange.
Harry meets Tonks again at the beginning of his sixth year. He notes that she looks much more subdued and sad compared to the last time that he saw her. Harry assumes this is because Tonks lost her cousin, Sirius Black, in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. Tonks helps Harry after he is left on the Hogwarts Express by Draco Malfoy, stunned and covered by the Invisibility Cloak. She escorts Harry up to the front gates of the school, and sends word of his safety ahead with her patronus. Tonks continues to patrol both Hogwarts and Hogsmeade during the schoolyear, and Harry sees her often.
Tonks married Remus Lupin over the summer before Harry was meant to start his seventh year at Hogwarts. Harry was unable to attend, and both Remus and Tonks were saddened by his absence. Tonks joins the Battle of the Seven Potters, flying as one of the "protectors". She rides a broom with Ron Weasley, who has been disguised as Harry. After everyone's safe arrival at the Burrow, Tonks stuck around and celebrated Harry's birthday a few days later.
At some point following her wedding, Tonks became pregnant with Remus' child. Remus, fearing for the future of his child and wife, chooses to run away and join Harry, Ron, and Hermione Granger at 12 Grimmauld Place. It is Harry that finally convinces Remus to return to Tonks, and be the husband that she needs him to be. Their son, Teddy Lupin, is born just after Easter. Both Remus and Tonks decide to ask Harry to function as Teddy's godfather.
Nymphadora dies at the hands of Bellatrix Lestrange in the Battle of Hogwarts. Due to his young age, Harry is unable to raise the newly orphaned Teddy Lupin. Teddy is raised by his maternal grandmother, Andromeda Tonks, but takes dinner at the Weasley-Potter home three or four times a week.

Honks is considered to be a rarepair in the Harry Potter fandom. It is Tonks' second most popular ship, after Remadora. It does not even crack the top 20 for Harry's most popular ships.
