The Challenge of the Senior Woodchucks![]

As Huey gets ready to accept become a Senior Woodchuck, Launchpad announces Violet's name instead, just as she races to join everyone at the front. Huey becomes confuses that Violet is a Woodchuck, since he's never seen her at any of the meetings or events. But Violet says that she prefers to use her time to use her Woodchuck skills for more practical things and shows off her extra badges, leaving Huey a bit more insecure. Huey is then announced as another Senior candidate and that the two will go head to head to compete for the title.

At the starting line, Launchpad explains the rules and the two get ready to start. As Huey sike's himself up, Violet gives him some smack talk. She apologizes, and explains that Lena was the one who suggested smack talk was necessary for competitions. Huey gets up and gives "let the best man win" talk, which Violet agrees with. They both try and awkwardly shake hands when Launchpad uses an air-horn to signify the start of the race. They then both take off.

Huey reaches the first checkpoint, and assumes he's in the lead until he see's Violet's letter. Violet, several feet ahead asks if the letter was good smack, just as Huey crumbles it up into a ball. He then chases after her and the race continues.

As Huey is attempting to pull the rubber plant out of the ground, Violet runs by and tells him he needs to sever it at the base. Huey defensively says thanks and that he knew that. She says very well, and to eat his dust, clarifying that she's smack talking, before running ahead.

Reaching the top of the tree after escaping the bear, Huey see's the next check mark. He starts to say that Violet wouldn't pull it off, when Violet climbs up on the ranch beside him. Huey becomes frustrated, and Violet says that if it makes him feel better, Lena says that first is the worst and second is the best. She grabs onto another branch, but it break and she falls as Huey screams no. She lands on another branch and is able to get rid of the bear with a bee's nest. She's unable to get back up, and Huey considers throwing down a rope, but decides to go for the checkpoint instead. Violet yells at him to wait, and asks if it was because of her razzing. She then notices a woodpecker beside her and uses it to climb the tree. Huey gets to the checkpoint, but runs away quick as Violet starts to catch up.

Huey is about to cross the bridge over lava when Violet arrives. Stressing over becoming the senior Woodchuck, Huey races across the bridge, only to have it fall apart. Violet calls for Huey, and sees that he was able to grab on the the half of the bridge that is still attached. She sighs in relief and pulls him up the rest of the way. They both then scramble to find ways to get across, Huey making a quick tightrope.

He makes his way across when he see's Violet flying with a makeshift hanglider overhead, much to his frustration. She gives him a brief explanation of how she came up with it, and that she'll see him at the finish line. Huey starts to run across when the rope becomes singed and breaks. As Huey falls to the lava, Violet flies down and grabs him. Huey believes that Violet is the better Woodchuck than him, and after they land, takes off his sash in defeat. He says that he doesn't deserve the badges, and that he's a failure. Violet says that she's also failed, and shows him her failure badge. She had failed becoming a Senior Woodchuck three more times before this, but finds failure natural, especially when trying something for the first time. They just have to work harder and try again next time. Violet takes his hand, and suggests that they finish together and can both be Senior Woodchucks. Huey says no, that he hasn't earned being a Senior Woodchuck, yet. Violet then places her flag on the checkpoint, but expected it to be more climactic.

The floor then starts to move, and they're taken below the volcano, where they find everyone else in a large Woodchuck meeting room, much to their shock. Della is excited to see Huey win, but Huey informs her that he lost. Della demands answers, but Huey's says it's okay. Lena's about to throw an insult, but Violet tells her to be quiet. Huey goes to Launchpad and accepts his failure, then joins everyone else in cheering on Violet.
