Astro B.O.Y.D.![]
As Huey is picking up the sticks after getting bullied, B.O.Y.D. comes over and helps pick them up. He notices that they're cut exactly to the Woodchuck guidelines, and Huey is happy that someone noticed. B.O.Y.D. introduces himself and asks if Huey wants to be friends, and Huey says yes, amazed at how easy that was. Huey asks B.O.Y.D. to start a fire, and B.O.Y.D. does so. Huey starts to recite a rule from the guidebook, and B.O.Y.D. joins in. Huey is amazed that someone else memorized the guidebook and B.O.Y.D. says it's downloaded into his head. Huey is happy that someone else sees doing things the right way as normal, that they're still kids and not robots. B.O.Y.D. agrees and while Huey has his back turned lights the campfire with his laser eyes. Huey says that B.O.Y.D. gets him, when B.O.Y.D. suddenly starts to malfunction and his laser eyes go off. Huey tackles B.O.Y.D. to the ground and covers his eyes to stop them momentarily.
Huey takes B.O.Y.D. to Dr. Gyro Gearloose's lab, who recognizes B.O.Y.D.. Huey is surprised that Gyro knows his friend, but Gyro says that B.O.Y.D. is not Huey's friend, and is just a failed experiment that he built. Huey thinks that this means Gyro can fix B.O.Y.D., but Gyro says that they'll have to go to his mentors lab in Tokyolk to do it. Gyro says that Gizmoduck will be coming with to protect them from B.O.Y.D.. Huey thinks that Gyro is overreacting, and that B.O.Y.D. is a kid, just like him. Even if he is wired differently.
As Gyro starts to go through B.O.Y.D.'s diagnostics, he starts to look worried. Huey assures him that it's like a normal check up, but realizes through his explanation that it is in no way normal. B.O.Y.D. shuts down and Gyro shows Huey B.O.Y.D.'s memories. Huey thinks that B.O.Y.D.'s had it tough, but Gyro says that B.O.Y.D. doesn't feel anything. Huey asks Fenton if he thinks B.O.Y.D. is dangerous, and Fenton thinks that he can be used for good. He then gets a call on a robbery, and decides this his chance. He grabs B.O.Y.D. as Huey starts to protests, but is dragged along as well.
They arrive at the robbery and Fenton goes after one of the criminals and tells Huey and B.O.Y.D. to go after the other. Huey questions what to do as B.O.Y.D. unlocks a city bike. He hands Huey a helmet, who asks how he'll keep safe. B.O.Y.D. says that his head is metal, and tells Huey to hop on. Huey does so, and they rid off after the robbers. They're able to stop them, and yell in joy when they do. B.O.Y.D. asks what they do now, but Huey has no idea. Fenton then shows up and chases the robber when they start to get away again, but B.O.Y.D. starts to glitch again. Huey says that they need to get him back to the lab, but Huey realizes that he doesn't know where it is.
Huey finds a map, but the city is too big. He asks what they do next, and B.O.Y.D. says what woodchucks do best: experience the local culture. Huey isn't sure, but B.O.Y.D. says they can write down their experiences and analyze them later. Huey gets excited and the two set off to explore Tokyolk. As they explore the city, Huey reads of the history of Tokyolk, before asking B.O.Y.D. if he's bored of him talking like his brothers normally are. B.O.Y.D. says that he's having fun, and the two head to a tall tower. Huey tells B.O.Y.D. that he doesn't think he's a killer robot, but just a kid. B.O.Y.D. says that's the nicest thing anyone has said to him, when Huey starts to fall over the edge. B.O.Y.D. calls out to him and dives over and grabs him, activating his rocket feet. They start to fly all around the city.
They land and Fenton finds him, who tells Huey to step away from B.O.Y.D. since he doesn't know what he's capable of. Huey says that he does, since B.O.Y.D. just saved him, but Gyro says that means his weapons are coming back online. Huey tells him to stop making B.O.Y.D. into a monster, and that when he was just being a kid, he didn't glitch at all. Gyro wants to shut him down, but Huey jumps on him and tells B.O.Y.D. to run, when B.O.Y.D. is suddenly controlled by Akita again.
Once Gyro is able to get B.O.Y.D. back to normal, Huey runs over to him and give him a hug. Huey is happy that B.O.Y.D. chose his own programming, and says that now he can choose his name. B.O.Y.D. likes, B.O.Y.D. but changes the meaning to "Be Only Yourself Dude". Huey is happy, and B.O.Y.D. asks what they should do next. Huey says that there's still more shrines for them to check out, but the inspector tells them to leave Tokyolk. They fly out, Huey riding on B.O.Y.D.'s back as they do.

Fanon[]
Compared to other Ducktales ships, this one has very few people who ship them. There is little content (fanfics / fanart) made about them. This is because B.O.Y.D. was first introduced in the middle of season 2 and met Huey in season 3, the last season of the series, so the relationship between them 2 could not be further developed, it must also be taken into account that B.O.Y.D. is a minor character and therefore his appearances in the series are very limited. However, their friendship is adorable. This ship is overshadowed by Louyd and Huelet and isn’t very popular because of the opinion that they are better as only best friends . The fans often portray them in fanarts spending time together, usually in Tokyolk, or one of them nervous about not wanting to admit his love for the other, but what they have in common is that people always show their relationship (romantically or just as friends) as something sweet and tender.
