Huskarlie is the het ship between Husk and Charlie Morningstar from the Hazbin Hotel fandom.
Canon[]
Charlie and Husk first met in pilot, where Alastor made him come there to work for the bar in the hotel. He accepts and Charlie gets excited about it, welcoming him.
In “Overture”, since Alastor messed up on the first commercial, they made a second one while Charlie has a meeting with Adam. When she comes back they try showing her the commercial and Husk was sitting there, looking annoyed.
In “Radio Killed The Video Star”, when Sir Pentious came to the hotel, Charlie introduces him to Husk.
In “Scrambled Eggs”, the group was doing trust exercises with each other. They were doing trust falls and Charlie goes first saying that she loves them all, she then falls and no one, including Husk tries to catch her besides Vaggie. Who did catch her. When they start doing more rough exercises, as Vaggie starts talking about what they’re gonna do, Charlie and Husk are standing next to each other. Husk leaves as Vaggie throws the others off.
In ”Masquerade”, While Husk was insulting everyone, he says that Charlie helps everyone but ignores her own problems and she awkwardly denies. When Husk makes Angel mad and he goes away, Charlie tells him about how she pushed him to hard to spend more time at the hotel and tells him to go after Angel, so he does. When Angel and Husk get back, Charlie runs up to the two of them and hugs Angel to apologize while Husk looks surprised.
In “Dad Beat Dad”, Charlie is freaking out about the upcoming extermination saying how she needs a meeting with heaven, so she has to call her dad. Husk asks her if she has daddy issues and she said no, but then she said that they have never been close and other things about her and her dad’s relationship. Husk knows that she has daddy issues. After Lucifer accepted to come over to the hotel, the gang had to get the place nice and ready for her dad. When he gets there, Charlie introduces him to others and then Husk, introducing him as their bar tender.
When Charlie and Alastor started showing Lucifer around, Husk came along since he was getting tired of Mimzy.
In “Welcome To Heaven” Cherri comes and surprises Angel, asking him to go to the club with her and Charlie tells her that she should bring everyone and looks at Husk as she says it.
In “The Show Must Go On” all of the group is getting ready for the upcoming extermination and Husk and the others are finally bonding, which makes Charlie happy. As she is making an announcement about the extermination, Husk, the others and the cannibals stand there listening to her. He is smiling. When the Angels get there and they are ready to fight, Husk stands behind Charlie as they get ready to attack. After they defeat Adam and the Angels, the hotel was destroyed. Husk and the group encourage her to rebuild it in the song. Charlie then hugs them all. Husk puts new lights up and Charlie uses magic to lighten them up. At the end of the song, they finish the hotel and the two of them are walking outside of the hotel near each other with the rest of the group.
Fanon[]
Huskarlie is not a popular ship and is considered to be a rarepair in the fandom. The more popular ships for the two are Chaggie and Huskerdust, which are two of the most popular ships in the fandom. Most people prefer to ship it platonically. Though, some people enjoy the interactions of the ship and the dynamic, and since Angel Dust and Vaggie were originally supposed to be a couple, they think that Charlie and Husk would be a couple since Vaggie is Charlie’s love interest and Angel has a crush on Husk.
Some fans of Huskarlie like to make AU’s where the creators kept their original idea of Angel and Vaggie being a couple so that they could make Husk and Charlie be together.
