Huskerdust is the slash ship between Angel Dust and Husk from the Hazbin Hotel fandom.

After Alastor bribes Husk with some cheap booze to be the bartender at the hotel, Angel Dust's eyes sparkle when seeing him. Vaggie says that there is no way they're allowing a bar in their hotel, when Angel Dust throws her to the ground. He tells her that they're keeping it, and points to Husk specifically. He then slides up to the bar, and tries to flirt but Husk just tells him to go fuck himself. Angel Dust then grabs Husk’s face and says that he will, but only if Husk watches.
Angel Dust later blows Husk a kiss when they make their way back into the hotel. Which Husk pauses at and looks flustered by, but mostly ignores.
Season 1[]
In the Episode “Overture”, Angel teases and flirts with Husk multiple times. Angel, in a mocking baby voice, asks if Husk doesn’t like being at the hotel with him while calling the bartender “Whiskers.” Angered, Husk threatens to jam his bottle down Angel’s throat. Unbothered and intrigued, Angel remarks, “Kinky!” and asks him to “keep talking dirty” and only stopping at Vaggie’s command.
Later, Vaggie attempts to film a new commercial for the hotel, tasking Angel and Husk to perform together. Husk holds the script to his face and choppily reads out his lines, while Angel provocatively approaches Husk and speaks suggestively, much to Husk’s irritation. Angel grabs Husk’s face and continues his indecent remarks while Husk rolls his eyes, reading out, “You come—“ before Angel moans, “Oh, yes!” After Vaggie stops the recording, she scolds Angel for ”being horny” and Husk for holding the script right to his face. Husk complains he can’t memorize the script, and to this, Angel suggestively comments they could improv while purring, making Husk shove him off the counter.
In the Episode “Scrambled Eggs”, the crew partakes in trust falls, an exercise crafted by Charlie. At Angel’s turn he starts by stating, “I LOVE to suck—“ making Husk yell and threaten him to not say dicks. Angel, smugly, declares he was going to say “popsicles instead”, before falling backwards and being caught by an irritated Husk. Angel adds, “But, you know, dicks too.” which makes Husk purposefully and plainly drop him. Later, Angel, and Pentious partake in a turf war together off-screen to build trust, orchestrated by Vaggie. However, Husk sneaks away before he can get involved.
In the Episode "Masquerade", Husk insults Angel’s porn movie’s script and goes on to reveal how, as the bartender, he is aware of everyone’s insecurities. Husk later declares that he sees right through Angel’s facade, which greatly offends him as he solemnly barks back at Husk. Later, Angel walks off, departing from the hotel to film a porno session for his boss Valentino. Charlie attempts to intervene and take Angel back to the hotel but inadvertently incurs Val's wrath, who brings Angel into his dressing room and beats him up, finally getting him into expulsion. Angel faces ongoing abuse while continuing his work in the adult entertainment industry. Upon returning to the hotel, a heated argument ensues, after Husk starts by telling Angel drinking away problems won’t solve anything, seeing right through Angel’s act. Angel turns into his full demon form for a second after Husk calls him fake, angered as he storms off.
Afterwards, upon Charlie’s request, Husk begrudgingly follows Angel to a bar, saving him from a dangerous situation with some guys who spiked Angel's drink, which he was aware of and attempted to allow, much to Husk's shock. Husk continues to remind Angel he can stop his act. However, Angel, shedding tears and expressing his sadness, lashes out at Husk as they argue, explaining he needs to be who he is in order to break himself, both to wash away his misery and escape Valentino. Husk, saddened by this, helps Angel recognize the parallel misery in their lives while singing the musical number “Loser, Baby” which leads to a transformative moment. The two express their shared experiences through song, leading to Angel's acknowledgment of his mistakes. A newfound friendship blossoms, and together, they happily return to the Hazbin Hotel.
In the Episode "Welcome to Heaven", Cherri invites Angel and Husk along with Niffty and Sir Pentious to a bar. During this scene, Cherri tries to motivate Angel to take drugs as a way to relieve stress, and Husk butts in to remind Angel it’d destroy his progress. Husk admits that Angel succumbing to drugs would really disappoint him. Angel declines the offer, making Husk smile, but later starts heavily drinking, something Husk disapproves of. Later, they drink in a more controlled way, but Niffty is already drunk. Angel decides to grab Niffty's drink and gives it to Husk, and even holds her and puts her in head. Angel inadvertently causes Niffty to sob, so he asks if she would like "to play with the kitty", referring to Husk. Afterwards, Cherri tells Angel he doesn’t have to spend his off hours working on himself, but Angel soon spots Valentino, requesting to leave, only to realize Niffty is not there. Niffty is spotted drunkenly running around the bar, so Angel rushes behind her, only to realize she is running towards Valentino. Husk, who sees this, worriedly looks at him. When Valentino messes with Niffty, this enrages Angel, so he stands up and tells Val to fuck off. Angered by this, he slaps Angel, so Husk angrily growls at Val, but Angel reassures him that it’s fine. Husk congratulates him for standing up for himself, and they decide return to the hotel.
As the story progresses, Angel stops trying to flirt with him in a sexual way, and does so in a rather romantic, yet sweet, way. Husk realizes this, but he lets it slide, and even smiles at times. As they were preparing to fight the exorcists, Husk unconsciously makes a sex comment saying that "these angels won't stop coming", and Angel laughs at this remark and shakes his bootie. Husk realizes the double meaning of it, and laughs admitting his mistake. When Lucifer inadvertently proclaims he’ll fuck Adam, all participants in the battle pause, including Angel and Husk, in which Husk glances at a smug Angel almost immediately. Husk and Angel have a close Relationship.

Fanon[]
Huskerdust is one of the most popular ships within the Hazbin Hotel fandom, next to Chaggie and Charlastor. It is considered one of the four main canon LGBTQIA+ ships between the Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss fandoms, the others being Chaggie, Stolitz and Fizzmodeus. The ship became popular due to the attraction Angel demonstrated towards Husk early on, and it exploded in popularity after the episode “Masquerade” where fans realized how much Husk and Angel related to each other, and subsequently the genuine bond they formed in the song “Loser, Baby.” Huskerdust is most popular as romantic since the ship is likely to become canon, though fans enjoy their general dynamic and relationship, platonic or not. It is the rival ship of RadioDust.
Huskerdust shipping started with their first interaction. As Angel Dust was literally flirting with Husk, and fans typically get attached to any form of canon romances. Due to this being in the pilot, many fans were interested to see if Husk would reciprocate Angel's feelings in the series itself. Another appeal of the ship is their different personalities. While they are both demons, Angel Dust has higher energy and is very sexual in speech. Husk is gruff, low energy, and has already shown an aversion to Angel's flirting. Most fan art play into this dynamic, with Angel being all over Husk while he rolls his eyes at him.
On AO3, Huskerdust is the most written ship for both Husk and Angel Dust. Is is also the second most written ship in the Hazbin Hotel (Web Series) tag. There are currently 2200+ written works.

- The Japanese name of the ship is ハスエン (Hasuen) which combines the Katana for Husk (ハスク) and Angel Dust (エンジェル・ダスト）
- According to Vivziepop, Husk and Angel Dust's relationship is one that will develop over the course of the series, and explained that it is one that she wanted to make sure has the time to develop, but she did not specify whether this relationship will become romantic in nature or not.[3]
