Hyuna & Hyunwoo is the family ship between Hyuna and Hyunwoo from the Alien Stage fandom.
Canon[]
Hyuna and Hyunwoo are siblings bred from the same genes, with Hyuna being the older sister. The two were enrolled into the Anakt Garden at a young age, in preparation for becoming future ALIEN STAGE contestants. They were each other's best friend, forming several happy memories in the Anakt Garden. Hyunwoo was a strong and righteous child that Hyuna relied on, and her overall value of righteousness stems from her younger brother.[1]
Later on, the two became close friends with Luka, a boy who eventually formed a possessive love for Hyuna. Luka was a point of disagreement for the two siblings. Hyunwoo disliked Luka's behavior towards his sister, while Hyuna let him be, writing off Luka's possessive behavior as cute and harmless.[2][3] Once, when Luka and Hyunwoo got into a scuffle, Hyuna sided with Luka despite him being the instigator.[4] At some point, Hyunwoo got into a fight with Luka resulting in his death. Whether Luka intentionally killed him or not is unknown, but Hyunwoo's death shattered Hyuna's world and created a permanent rift between her and Luka. Hyuna, who still loved Luka, tried not to acknowledge his role in her brother's death, resenting both herself and Luka for this.[5]
After losing her round in Season 49 of ALIEN STAGE, Hyuna escaped in a tunnel, crawling with a missing leg. During her escape, she saw glimpses of a loved one, likely Hyunwoo.[6] Hyuna's love motivated her to continue through the tunnel, her destination being the Anakt Garden in an effort to save the children there.[7] Hyunwoo's memory continued to haunt Hyuna. In the prologue, Hyuna hallucinates Hyunwoo happily running through the corridor and drops her cigarette in shock. All-in shows that even remembering a happy moment with her brother is a cause for distress. In Wiege, Hyuna has another vision of Hyunwoo, smiling with a bloodied head.

Hyuna & Hyunwoo's relationship is widely appreciated across the fandom. Though with the characters of the 4NAKT being more popular, the fandom tends to focus more on platonic ships with those characters.
