Battle for Dream Island Again[]
Book and Ice Cube, along with Spongy, fall into the Evil Forest while riding on Puffball. Book and Ice Cube run away from Evil Leafy together, and Book says that "We fell into a forest, and Evil Leafy chased us out. Spongy was with us, but Evil Leafy captured him!" when Golf Ball says the two should've been in Yoyleland.
Book and Ice Cube both express interest in being part of Pencil's alliance, to which she accepts them both in as "alternates". The two are disappointed, but accept and become part of her alliance.
Book and Ice Cube are going to Match's dance party, when Pin tries to stop them, saying that "Match is a real meanie!". Book responds with "I've already made up my mind. We're going!". Pin accuses her of "making decisions for Ice Cube without letting her think for herself", saying "I think Ice Cube would love to swing to come swing with me, but YOU have to control her every move!". Book denies this, as she says "What? That's nonsense! Ice Cube is my friend, I would never-". She's cut off by Pin claiming she's "suppressing Ice Cube's rights", as she begins to accuse her of being a controlling friend, and being "filthy, self-absorbed, unloving", before being cut off by Ice Cube tell her that she does want to go to Match's dance party with Book.
When the two get to Match's dance party, Book asks Ice Cube if the dance party is exciting. Match kicks the two out because the party was only for alliance members, and the two were alternates.
Book and Ice Cube, along with the other alliance members, do not agree to stay on Golf Ball's team, with Ice Cube saying "Yeah!" in response to Book saying "Neither do we!" (referring to her and Ice Cube).
The two sit next to each other in the Freesmart van.
Book and Ice Cube are both characters you can play as in BFDIA 5b. When Book meets Ice Cube, she asks if she's okay, to which she responds with a simple yes. When Book asks Ice Cube why she's in Lego Brick's dungeon, she replies that she doesn't remember. Ice Cube tells Book that she could escape the dungeon if she had arms, and Book says "Well, you're in luck! I have arms!". The two escape the dungeon.
Book is upset when Match uses Ice Cube to put out the flame on her head, but doesn't say anything.
In the next episode, Book recovers Ice Cube after Match recovers Pencil. The two continue to sit next to each other in the Freesmart Supervan.
Book tells Ice Cube that they're at the summit of Yoyle Mountain, assuming they had won the challenge, to which Ice Cube responds with "Yay!".
When Freesmart and W.O.A.H Bunch are fighting, Book says that W.O.A.H Bunch, "literally glued the worst headphones ever onto our dear friend Icy!", before hugging her. Ice Cube agrees, saying "Yeah!". Later, when Ice Cube uses her headphones to play a lullaby, Book calls it "the most soothing lullaby I've ever heard!", claiming it almost puts her in a trance before falling asleep.
Book agrees to let Firey and Gelatin stay on Freesmart because she's an "inclusion handbook", to which Ice Cube responds with doubt and disagrees with her decision.
After getting to see the Clubhouse of Awesomeness fully for the first time, Book notes that it's a "technological marvel!", which Ice Cube reminding her of the last time they were there (in 5a when they got kicked out). Book says that Match isn't there to exclude them anymore.
When the voting screen shows up, Book, talking to Ice Cube, says that the TV is a "historic clubhousian innovation". Ice Cube is interested.
Both of them cheer with Pencil when they (all of the original Freesmarters) are safe.
After Pencil and Ruby die (and Gelatin heads off to his Shadehouse), Ice Cube and Book are the only two Freesmart members left. Book points out to Ice Cube that, because Pencil took the last of the pink paint with her in her "paint gun", they have no more pink paint left and therefore, they can't do the challenge. However, Ice Cube has a plan, and tells Book to grab onto the tip of the Eiffel Tower and start swinging to reach the pink paint in the satellite dish. This plan works, with Book telling Ice Cube that it was a genius plan.
The two "high-five" (Ice Cube uses her foot) after Puffball Speaker Box tells them that Freesmart was the team with the most pink paint on the tower. They are also both painted pink at this point.
In response to Nickel complaining about being pink, Book asks him why he's upset, saying that there's an "appeal to being pink", picking up Ice Cube and showing her to him. She calls her "Strawberry Milk Cube".
They both cheer after Pencil recovers herself.
Book defends Ice Cube after Pencil suggests that she should be the one to go into the machine, pointing out how she had just recently talked about "seeing Icy's value as a team member". Pencil agrees to not make Ice Cube go.
Ice Cube is confused by Book's attempts at "rowing a boat", asking what she's doing. She tells FreeSmart to look once Book opens up, showing the word "rowing" with her page.
Book and Ice Cube both cheer when Bubble returns, and hug the machine.
Book is confused about what Ice Cube is doing, and comments that Pencil is "lucky that she's not here to witness this". After Ruby says that it was her "beautiful face", Book says that she's honoured to have witnessed her face of beauty.
After being blindfolded, Book says that the fate of their team relies on her.
Once Ice Cube gets stuck in the machine, Book says that it's all Ruby's fault and asks Ice Cube what her word is so they can get her out.
Book is the one to recognize what Ice Cube is doing after Ruby says that she's "getting bigger and swinging a knife around".
Ice Cube tells Ruby that Book can't hear her when she's trying to tell her to take the blindfold off. After she's killed by Puffball Speaker Box, Ice Cube, looking at Book's shredded remains, comments that it's tragic.
Book tells Ice Cube that they've made it to the final 13, and Ice Cube cheers.
Book is among the contestants in the B.F.D.I. (Beautiful Face Devotion Institute) who are enamored with Ice Cube's "beautiful face". When Needle kills Ice Cube, she's tearing up.
Book tells Ice Cube that she "wishes [she] was [that] well liked" when her likes are revealed, though Ice Cube ignores her and goes to get her prize.
Ice Cube chose to get rid of Pin's face because she tried to stop her and Book from going to Match's dance party.
When Spongy and Ice Cube are in the bottom two, Book (along with the rest of FreeSmart) says she hopes Ice Cube is safe.
After everyone leaves Ice Cube because she made an "ugly face", Book says that she looks heartbroken and wonders if they should leave her.
In Book's "fashion magazine" there's a drawing of Ice Cube doing her beautiful face.
Book and Ice Cube's "outfit" for flower has one of X's baskets on her head. Ice Cube calls it ugly.
Book stops fighting Coiny after Ice Cube says that violence isn't the answer, saying that she's right and that the real answer is "unfurl".
Book is clearly upset over Ice Cube's elimination, calling her "innocent Ice Cube" while asking how she could leave [them] so soon. However, she quickly gets over this, not objecting when Pencil says that they'll replace her (though she's still frowning) and doesn't mention it again for the rest of the episode, though that's because she's poisoned for most of it and dead.
Island Dream for Battle/IDFB[]
The two sit next to each other on the Yoyle Needy until Pencil falls off.
When Ice Cube attempts to sacrifices herself to put out Woody while he was burning, Book tells her that she can't, saying it's "too dangerous!". Afterwards, when Ice Cube ignored Book and went on with it, Book claims that her action was "selfless".
Battle For BFDI[]
The two both leave Pencil's team, believing that it was becoming unhealthy for them. They join Gaty's team together. During the challenge, when they were running through the world's largest oven, Book watched sadly as Ice Cube melted, warning Taco that "Ice Cube's starting to melt under the intense summer heat!".
When Ice Cube returns to her team after being freed from the jawbreaker, Book immediately hugs her, saying that her team had missed her. Ice Cube smiles at the hug, though she still looks a bit pensive from the earlier encounter with Iance. Later, when Book notices that Ice Cube "looks nervous", she asks if something's wrong, saying that if anything bad happens she can tell her.
After Book finished explaining how Taco had abandoned their team, both her and Ice Cube looked upset. Book hugs Ice Cube for comfort.
Four, interrupted by Bracelety, supposedly says that "Ice Cube" was the next one safe, to which Book says that he must've been confused, because Ice Cube was on Team BLEH, and their team was not the one at Cake at Stake.
Upon feeling that her, and Ice Cube, had been mistreated by Team BLEH, she speaks for both her and Ice Cube saying that they wanted to see things change in the team. After Ice Cube tells her to let her think for herself, Book looks guilty and asks Ice Cube what she wants. When Ice Cube tells her that she wants to switch teams, she tells her that it's not BFDIA anymore, and she "can't just do that". After being interrupted by Coiny, Book notices that Ice Cube is gone, and she calls out her name. When Book is talking with Gaty, she reminds her that her and Ice Cube joined team BLEH because they felt like they were being mistreated during their time on Freesmart.
While talking to Pin, Book tells her that she wanted to protect Ice Cube from the negative behavior that came from Match and Freesmart; she's almost driven to tears thinking about the fact that Team BLEH had become a team that Ice Cube no longer wanted to be on due to the behavior that she believed was "protecting" her. When the lava nearly kills her (and Taco), Book saves both of them, sacrificing herself in the process.
After Ice Cube received her happy thought, which was Pencil, Match, Leafy, and Book being set on fire while she watched, Book was also happy, saying "Hawwh!!! She's so happy!".
The Power of Two[]
The scene of Book and Ice Cube running away from Evil Leafy from BFDIA 4 is seen on TV's screen.
Book asks Ice Cube if she wanted to stay on the same team. Ice Cube turned and walked away without saying anything. Book didn't seem too bothered by her decision, only saying that she has to find new friends as Saw and Gaty told her.
When Book and Price Tag are having fun together after Book wakes up from her dream, Ice Cube looks over at them and frowns, though it's unclear exactly why she's upset.
After One shuffles the teams, Book and Ice Cube end up on Team 2 together.
Book comments that it "looks like a strong team" while grabbing onto Ice Cube and Price Tag. Ice Cube doesn't react to this.
Book shuts Price Tag up when they ask if Ice Cube's someone she has a past with, aggressively shushing them repeatedly. Afterwards, she awkwardly tries to talk to Ice Cube, stumbling over her words to ask her how she is. Ice Cube seems put off by this, and ignores her, turning and talking to Snowball, Eraser, and Grassy instead of responding to Book.
When Snowball picks up Ice Cube to toss her down the pit, Book gets upset and yells at him to put her down and let her go. She is still seen arguing with him when Pin is coming in. When she's sliding away on Pillow, Book is seen looking unhappily over towards where she's going. When Snowball questions how useful Ice Cube really is, her expression changes to one of anger. Along with Price Tag, she immediately runs off when Snowball agrees to go look for her.
After Ice Cube gets her legs back from One, Book asks her where she got that "shiny brand new pair of legs" came from.
Book, between screams, tells Ice Cube that she did a good job because she got the moon rolling.
Ice Cube pulls Book away from Pencil when she attempts to coerce her into joining her alliance.
Book and Ice Cube talk a little bit about Pencil, but are cut off by Book slipping and falling flat on her face.

Fanon[]
The ship is not very popular in the fandom, likely due to their conflict in BFB and Book's "controlling" nature over Ice Cube. Another contributing factor to the ships lack of popularity is the fact that the two of them are on different teams on TPOT, with their interactions ending with the two of them seemingly on bad terms (only on Ice Cube's side). The pairing is overshadowed by more popular Book and Ice Cube ships, like Booklow, Tacobook and Icelety.
Many also believe that the two, if put into a romantic relationship, would be unhealthy due to Book's previously mentioned "controlling" behavior in BFB 13, which is why it is commonly restricted to just friendship. Many times the ship is also portrayed as being one-sided (on Book's side), though this is mostly played up for humor. Along with that, part of the ship's unpopularity comes from their dynamic being widely overlooked, with other ships (or character duos) within both Freesmart and BLEH (such as Matchcil, Tacobook, Sawty, and Rububble) getting more recognition than them. They are commonly paired together for both being Freesmart alternates, however there's not a lot of fan content of the two together on their own, or at least not as much compared to other Freesmart and BLEH pairings.
A common theme in content of the ship is them having a "make-up" in TPOT, based off of the scene in TPOT 10 where Ice Cube watches Book and Price Tag having fun together with a frown. Fans have taken this scene as evidence that the two of them will become friends again at some point in TPOT, possibly involving Price Tag in that arc. Since TPOT 10, and this little hint that the two might go back to being on good terms eventually, the ship has gotten more popular. Despite this, it is still overshadowed by Booklow, and TPOT 10 introducing a friendship between Book and Price Tag has led to Booktag gaining popularity, also competing with Icebook mainly due to the scene of Ice Cube watching Book and Price Tag run off together. With TPOT 12 seperating Book and Pillow, and putting Book and Ice Cube on the same team (along with Price Tag), the ship could start to compete more against Booklow. TPOT 12 also shows that Book wants to make up with Ice Cube, though she still seems apprehensive about it and acts distant towards Book. Icebooktag is also a thing now.

- They were the only two Freesmarters to be competing in TPOT until Pencil joined from the EXIT.
- Until TPOT, they were always on the same team. As of TPOT 12, this is no longer true as they are both members of Team 2.
