IchiMint is the femslash ship between Ichigo Momomiya and Mint Aizawa in the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom.

Canon

Tokyo Mew Mew (2002)

Ichigo first met Mint after she became the first mew mew, and had to search for the other four mew mews. Mint's dog, Mickey, jumped out of the window of the car and started licking Ichigo. Mint apologized and gave Ichigo a handkerchief to wipe off the drool with and told her she could keep it because it was now sullied. Ichigo began to wonder if Mint was a mew mew, so she washed the handkerchief and visited Mint's mansion to return it. She awkwardly moved around the foyer to look for clues on Mint being a mew mew and Mint grew annoyed her behavior and told her to leave.

As Ichigo was on her way out, she heard a scream from Mint, who was being attacked by Mickey after he was turned into a chimera animal. Ichigo transformed to defend her, and after seeing a mew mark on Mint's back, help showed her how to transform into a mew mew. After the battle, Ichigo brought Mint to Cafe Mew Mew and introduced her to the mew project. Ichigo was relieved to finally not be the only waitress but Mint would always just sit at a table and drink tea, seeing waitress work as peasant work. Ichigo would frequently become annoyed with how Mint views her as upper-class compared to everyone else.

Ichigo and Mint continued to support each other on the time despite not getting along. Mint supported Ichigo's relationship with Masaya and Ichigo tried to help cheer Mint up when her idol Zakuro refused to join the team and called her annoying. However, the two still had their arguments. There was one day when Ichigo was late to work because she was on a date with Masaya, and Mint got into an argument with her and stormed out. The mew mews assumed that she would come back around but were stunned to discover that she mailed her waitress outfit and transformation pendant to the cafe. However, Mint changed her mind after Zakuro talked to her and returned the pendant.

The alien's leader Deep Blue later awakened in Masaya's body and the final battle began. Ichigo refused to fight at first because she did not want to harm her boyfriend with Mint and the other mews were overpowered and knocked out of their mew forms. Ichigo tried to help Mint but she slapped her and convinced her to fight. Ichigo then transformed and pursued Deep Blue into his lair. After Deep Blue was defeated, Mint and the other mews found Ichigo dead in Masaya's arms, which caused Mint to scream Ichigo's name in despair. However, Ichigo was revived by the last of the Mew Aqua when Masaya kissed her outside.

Ichigo later went to England to study abroad with Masaya while Mint and the other mews stayed in Tokyo to fight the remaining chimera animals. Mint lamented how the mood was not as bright without Ichigo's presence. The mew mews ended up facing a new threat known as the Saint Rose Crusaders and were joined by a new mew mew named Berry. Ichigo arrived unexpectedly to save Berry at one point but turned into a cat due to using her transformation for too long. Mint then scolded Ichigo for pushing herself too hard right after she got back from vacation.

Tokyo Mew Mew New

Mint was the first mew mew in the newer anime adaptation. She had already been discovered by Ryō and Keiichiro and been infused with the blue lorikeet. The men working on the mew project discovered that Ichigo's DNA was compatible with that of the Iriomote cat, so Mint went to Ichigo's school undercover as a student and gave her two tickets to the Red Data Animal Exhibit so that she could ask her crush Masaya on a date there. During her date, Mint later led Ichigo outside while the fire alarm was blaring so that Ryō could infuse her with her animal's DNA.

The next day, Ichigo and Masaya were attacked by a chimera animal rat, and after Ryō arrived and told Ichigo to transform, Mint arrived in her mew form to aid Ichigo in battle and told her that she should be able to transform. Ichigo then transformed into a mew mew for the first time and helped Mint defeat the chimera animal. Mint and Ryō then brought Ichigo to Cafe Mew Mew to introduce her to the mew project. Unlike in the previous anime, Mint did not look down on Ichigo or others, but she still always sat a table and drank tea while she was supposed to be working, which Ichigo found to be annoying.

When the fifth and final mew mew Zakuro refused to join the team and told Mint that she was annoying, she became depressed, so Ichigo decided to try and cheer her up. Ichigo brought Lettuce and Pudding over to Mint's mansion to spend time with her, and while she initially refused, her older brother Seiji invited them in after they got wet due to Pudding activating the sprinklers. Mint initially said that they could only stay until their clothes were dry, but Ichigo started a pillow fight which made her smile.

When the mew mews decided that they needed to recruit Zakuro and warn her that Kish was going to attack, Mint decided that they should just protect Zakuro while she performs so that she did not have to worry about anything. When Zakuro asked Ichigo if she felt the same way, she said that she did not and was secretly still hoping that she would join the team. At a later point in time, Mint arrived at Ichigo's house and announced that she ran away from home because she was tired of her brother treating her like a child. Ichigo then introduced Mint to her parents and showed her around their house, to which Mint was surprised by the small size. Mint then spent the night in Ichigo's bed with her but stayed awake on her laptop to work on an invention.

Fanon

IchiMint has a small amount of popularity in the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom. It is the second-most popular ship in the fandom after ZakuMint. Some fans ship them together due to them being similar in age and their strong-minded personalities. The anime reboot Tokyo Mew Mew New increased the ship's popularity by having Mint not look down on Ichigo and the episode where the two spend a good portion bonding. On AO3, there are currently 11 works for the pairing, while FFN only has 3. IchiMint serves as a rival ship to the ZakuMint, IchiSaya, Kishigo, and IchiRyo pairings.
