Ichinemu is the het ship between Ichiro Yamada and Nemu Aohitsugi from the Hypnosis Mic fandom.

Ichiro and Nemu were brief friends during Ichiro and Samatoki's time at Mad Comic Dialogue. They got along exceedingly well and shared their views towards violence. While Nemu, Jiro, and Saburo are kidnapped by Mozuku, Samatoki and Ichiro rush to save them. During that time Nemu grew admiration for Ichiro when he stopped Samatoki from acting out unnecessary violence.
After that incident, Nemu tagged along with Samatoki to make sure he wouldn't act out, and while walking beside MCD, Nemu engaged in a conversation with the initially stoic and awkward Ichiro. Nemu smiles widely at Ichiro who glances at her, before she leans in and awkwardly asks if his name is Ichiro. He affirms and asks why, leading to Nemu grinning and thanking Ichiro for saving her earlier. Ichiro picks at his cheek and bashfully says he was only there to save his younger brothers, but Nemu adds that Ichiro helped her when he stopped Samatoki from going too far. Ichiro calmly explains he dislikes pointless violence, and Nemu grins even more, asking how his brothers are feeling. Ichiro sweats and says they’ve been fighting recently, and Nemu laughs saying she also fights with Samatoki often, much to Ichiro’s surprise.
Ichiro then tells her his brothers claimed she has nerves of steel, making him smile. Nemu smiles but she darkens a little, muttering to herself how she’s a weak person who can only be protected. Ichiro shows confusion, and according to Sasara, they begin to “chat up a storm.” Samatoki glances at the two, and Sasara whispers to him how it makes sense Ichiro and Nemu get along, as they’re the same age.
"My, but they sure do look close, don’t they? Nemu's enjoying herself. And look! Ichiro can't stop smiling either."
Sasara grins sneakily and comments that Ichiro and Nemu are getting along well, adding that Nemu is enjoying herself and Ichiro won’t stop smiling, making Samatoki angrily ask for his point. Samatoki angrily kicks him for messing around, so Sasara claims that Samatoki is only upset because Nemu is getting along with Ichiro. Later as they chase each other around, Nemu comments how unserious they’re being, and Ichiro agrees with a laugh.
Later as Samatoki gets overly aggressive towards Ramuda, Nemu jumps to stop him. During this she angrily screams he should learn a thing or two from Ichiro, much to the latter’s surprise.
Not too long later, Samatoki picks a fight with Sasara and Kuko as Nemu walks by Ichiro, laughing at the group’s fighting. Nemu apologizes to Ichiro for Samatoki’s constant fighting, and he goes on to explain how he likes Samatoki the way he is. Ichiro explains that Samatoki is a good person who values family and friends, leading Nemu to gape a little while thinking to herself, “He really sees Samatoki like that…”

Nemu looks down and calls Ichiro amazing, making him startled. Nemu thinks about how Ichiro can battle Samatoki and take care of his family at the same time, so she complements him on his strength. Ichiro sweats, flustered as he doesn’t believe Nemu’s kind words, adding that he keeps in mind the phrase “I have strength.” Nemu clenches her fist and stares at Ichiro, pondering for a short while before Samatoki yells at her to get going. Before leaving she asks Ichiro if he’d like to come over for dinner as a way of her thanks. Ichiro is hesitant but agrees, so Nemu asks what his family would like to eat, and with a deep blush Ichiro admits he likes mackerel in miso. Nemu affirms his requests before running off, waving goodbye as Ichiro reciprocates the farewell.
After their meetings, Nemu continually brings up how kind and peaceful Ichiro was, scolding Samatoki and urging him to follow Ichiro's example. The next day, Nemu tries cooking mackerel in miso along with the Yamadas’ favorite recipes, much to Samatoki’s confusion. During dinner she asks if they could invite Ichiro over, and in response Samatoki asks why she’s so hung up over Ichiro. Nemu answers that she admires his kindness and strength and that she wants to learn how to be like him. Despite his irritation, Samatoki thinks to himself about how Ichiro caught Nemu’s eye. From one thought to another Samatoki ponders how he won’t always be around to protect Nemu, so he shortly realizes Ichiro could protect Nemu as well. Samatoki agrees to inviting Ichiro over, thinking, “Maybe I can trust him to take care of Nemu."
Later on, Samatoki asks about Ichiro's favorite food, and shortly realizes Nemu was using him as practice for the dinner night.
However, the night before the dinner, Nemu was mind hacked by a Ramuda clone and subsequently vanished to the Party of Words.
After his fallout and feud with Samatoki, Ichiro would show his undenied shock upon recognizing Nemu to have joined the Party of Words, and with this he worked tirelessly to find out the truth behind it.

Ichinemu is one of the most popular hetero ships in the Hypnosis Mic fandom. Their dynamic caught the eye of many fans after Nemu and Ichiro were implied to have mutual feelings, as well as the "Doki-doki" sparkle effects around all the panels they were in. Fans quickly appreciated their dynamic and have expressed how they appreciate the only hetero pairing in the franchise was unforced and natural. Fans assume that if Nemu wasn't mind hacked she would've ended up with Ichiro due to how the plot progressed. Many Ichinemu fan works include more angsty plotlines, such as Ichiro trying to snap Nemu out of her brainwashing and anguished by their long-gone friendship. Many fans enjoy Ichinemu's dynamic, mostly from Samatoki's canonical jealousy towards their relationship and scenarios of how their romance would work out. Ichinemu is rivaled by Samaichi as a result.
