Ilia Trio is the family ship between Farina, Fiora, and Florina from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Fiora, Farina and Florina are three sisters from the frozen land of Ilia. Fiora is the oldest, Farina the middle one and Florina the youngest. Their parents died young so Fiora had to be her sisters' caretaker.
Like most people in Ilia they had to work as a mercenary. Fiora quickly became commander of the 5th Wing of Ilia's Pegasus Knights. Farina soon started her pegasus knight training. One day Farina and her squad almost died in a practice maneuver. Fiora gave up her mission to rush to save them, she succeeded but wasn't paid for her mission as a result. Farina felt guilty about this, she had a fight with her older sister claiming that she should have let her die. Following this fight Farina left her family to earn the money to repay the money that Fiora lost. Florina later became a pegasus knight herself.
Years later Florina left Ilia to join her friend Lyn. Lyn , with a small group, was on a quest to reunite with her maternal grandfather who was the lord of Caelin. During their travel Lyn's group fought against bandits and against the force of Lugdren (Lyn's grandfather who wanted the throne for himself). After Lugdren's defeat Florina decided to stay with Lyn as a knight of Caelin.
A year after the end of Lyn's quest Eliwood (the future marquess of Pherae) with a small group went on a quest to find his missing father. Their quest led them to discover a conspiracy against Ostia (the most powerful member of the Lycia league) and they fight some forces of Laus (an other part of Lycia). Their enemies flee to Caelin an seize the castle. Lyn and some knights (among them Florina) managed to escape and merge with Eliwood's group to free Caelin. After that Lyn and her knights decide to join Eliwood in his quest. The search for Elbert led them to the Dread Island. Around the same time Fiora and her squad of pegasus knights had been hired to investigate the Dread Island. They fall into a trap and all Fiora's subordinates were killed by the Black Fang (a group of assassins manipulated by the same person behind the conspiracy). Fiora decided to go in a suicidal mission to avenge her dead companions, and show up during a fight between the Black Fang and Eliwood's group. Florina reunites with her sister convinces her to give up her revenge and join their group.
On Hector mode Florina and Fiora can reunite with Farine. During a fight between their group and the Black Fang Farina arrive on the battlefield and offers to be hired by Hector for 20,000 gold. If she is hired, she will join the army and reunite with her sisters.

Ilia Trio is a relatively popular family within the Fire Emblem fandom. The group formed by Fiora, Farina and Florina is often seen as part of the archetype of the three pegasus sisters, as together they can perform the triangle attack. The Illia Trio is among the most popular member of the three pegasus sisters archetype, it can be explained by the fact that Fire Emblem the Blazing Sword is the first game of the franchise to be localized in the west; many players outside Japan are more familiar with Fiora, Farina and Florina than the other pegasus sisters.
It's not uncommon to see Fiora, Farina and Florina alongside each others in fanarts. They are generally with their pegasi. Many fanfictions focused on their sisterhood take place before the event of the game; a good part depict Farina's separation with her family. The fanfictions that take place during the game often focus on Farina's reconciliation with her sisters. Illia Trio is sometime present in the background of a fanwork focused on a ship involving one of the sister, the other two generally supporting their sister in her new relationship. The members of the Ilia Trio are sometime each shipped with a lord (Fiora with Eliwood; Farina with Hector and Florina with Lyn) making them a big family.
