The Very Last Day Of The Rest Of Their Lives[]
As Satan starts to emerge from hell, Aziraphale tells Crowley to do something, or he'll never speak to him again. Crowley then stops time so that only he, Aziraphale and Adam can talk. Crowley tells Adam that his father is coming to destroy them, but Adam says that his dad wouldn't hurt anyone. Crowley is referring to Satan, and Adam asks if he wants him to fight him. Crowley says that won't do any good and will have to come up with something else. Adam says that he's just a kid, and Aziraphale says that's not a bad thing. He had been scared that Adam would be Hell incarnate, but also hoped he'd be Heaven incarnate, but he's neither of those things. He's something much better: human. Crowley tells Adam that right now Adam has the ability to change reality, and Aziraphale says that he and Crowley will be beside him. They then both take his hands, and Crowley says that when he starts time again Adam won't have long to do what he's going to do. He then un-pauses time and reminds Adam to do what he needs to do quickly.
Adam then tells Satan that he's not his dad, which causes him to disappear and for Mr. Young to show up. Aziraphale points out that he's not really Adams dad, but Crowley says that he is, and always was. Implying that Adam changed reality so that Mr. Young is his only father.

Ineffable Dads has a decent amount of fans. Though most of the fanbase has to build much of the relationship between the three in fanworks. Since the three only share a few scenes together, and most of them not interacting all that much. Most fics will continue on from the first seasons end, and have Crowley and Aziraphale still remain in contact with Adam. Others will create AUs where Crowley ended up taking Adam right to Aziraphale and they raise him as their son. On AO3, there are currently 115+ written works.
