Investigation Quad is the friendship between Yu Narukami, Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, and Yukiko Amagi from the Persona fandom.

Chie and Yukiko are close friends from childhood, who also appear to be on a friendly basis with Yosuke. When Yu arrives as a new student at Yasogami High School, Chie takes to him quickly. Chie, Yosuke, and Yu begin to hang out after school. One day Chie tells Yu about the Midnight Channel, and the three friends visit Junes to take a look at a larger TV. They end up getting sucked into the TV world and experience the shadows of the world. Upon returning to the real world, they start to realize the true meaning of the Midnight Channel. When Yukiko appears on it next, Chie is determined to save her with help from her new friends.
Yu, Yosuke, and Chie enter the TV world, and search for Yukiko. Despite not having a persona of her own, Chie is determined to help. However, upon entering Yukiko's dungeon, Chie's feelings of jealousy towards her best friend manifest into her own shadow. Shadow Chie reveals that Chie envies Yukiko's more feminine style and her higher social status. It also reveals that Chie enjoys the fact that Yukiko relies so heavily on her. Yu and Yosuke use their personas to help Chie defeat her shadow, which in turn becomes her personal persona.
With each of them now possessing a persona, they set off to save Yukiko. Shadow Yukiko laments the fact that she is helpless and stuck in Inaba. She refers to Yu, Yosuke, and Chie as her three princes, asking them to take her away from the life that she has been trapped in. Using the power of their personas, the trio save Yukiko. Yukiko's shadow turns into her own persona, just as it had for the others. Now that she knows about the existence of the TV world and personas, Yukiko officially joins the team. Later, the four of them save Kanji Tatsumi from the TV world.
The first and second year students of Yasogami High School go on a school camping trip. Yu, Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko make up one group, meaning they have to spend the trip together. They go shopping at Junes to prepare for the trip, and the boys leave the cooking to Chie and Yukiko. However, it soon becomes clear that Yukiko and Chie don't know how to cook. Both Yu and Yosuke pass out after eating the curry they've made, making the girls incredibly offended by their reactions. Yu and Yosuke start off the night by sharing a tent with Kanji, but they admit they are uncomfortable with him after seeing his Shadow self. Kanji storms over to the girls' tent, but Chie knocks him out. Chie and Yukiko leave him behind in their tent, and run to sleep in Yu and Yosuke's tent for the night. The next day, Yosuke presents the girls with bikinis he bought from Junes, encouraging them to put them on and go swimming. However, when he and Yu mock the girls' appearances, they push the two boys into the cold river water.
Persona 4: Arena[]
Yu returns to Inaba for Golden Week. Upon his arrival, he discovers that the Midnight Channel has returned after two months of silence. When he reaches out to Yosuke about this, he discovers that Kanji, Teddie, and Rise have gone missing. Since Naoto is out of town for work, the Investigation Quad comes together to try and solve the new mystery. They meet up on the Junes rooftop, like normal, and when Yosuke officially reinstated the Investigation Team the other three members begin to clap.
They head inside the TV world together, but are separated on entry.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night[]

When the Investigation Team enters the Midnight Stage to rescue the members of Kanamin Kitchen, they are faced with two paths. They decide to split into two groups so they can better explore the Midnight Stage. Yu, Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko, the current third years, decide to make up one team together.
Fanon[]
The Investigation Quad is a popular dynamic in the Persona 4 fandom. As all four characters are in the same class, it is seen as the older equivalent of KanNaoRise. However, unlike KanNaoRise, this ship is most popular as a platonic group pairing than a polyamorous one. Often, fans of the Investigation Quad are also fans of SouYo and YukiChie. Some fanworks like to portray YukiChie as an established couple, helping either Yu or Yosuke understand their feelings for the other.
There are currently no works on AO3 explicitly tagged with this friendship, but is a common dynamic in both fanfiction and fan art on multiple platforms.
