Irmapril is the femslash ship between Irma Langinstein and April O'Neil from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fandom.

In the 1987 series, they're best friends. Although there are moments that Irma is very clingy towards April when she's not thinking about guys.
Season 2[]
RETURN OF THE SHREDDER
April enters the Channel 6 news building, where the receptionist, Irma, says there's an emergency. April asks what it is, but Irma had just chipped her nail and is out of the polish. April says what she need is leads and has a problem. Irma's got her own as she worries about the possibility of a guy calling her for a date. Vernon gets on April's case about getting proof that the turtles are bad, and April asks Irma what brought this on. Irma points to Vernon's girlfriend who has a fear of turtles, and April becomes annoyed.
IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE SEWERS
April is at home with Irma after the turtles told her to man the turtle comm. Irma asks if April is home because she couldn't get a date, but April says that she's waiting for a call. Irma doesn't believe her, but April just changes the subject to what's going on at work. Irma does a Vern impression, which April laughs at. There's then a knock at her door, and April wonders who it could be. Irma suggests it could be a guy, but April highly doubts it. She answers finding a note from the turtles telling her to meet, and Irma asks if April is sure she didn't just dream up the turtles. April jokingly says that Irma is right before leaving to go meet them.
THE CASE OF THE KILLER PIZZA
Irma and April head to a big free Pizza event, April commenting about how much the turtles would love it. Irma suggests forgetting about the turtles, and focusing on real men, but April brings up Irma's last date. Irma says to forget him, since he was dumb and the two laugh. Irma then runs into the guy, but April is luckily able to get rid of him.
The two head back to April's with a cool pizza to put in the microwave. The power then starts to flicker, and April asks what that was. Irma suggests it was a short circuit, and sets the table. She longingly complains about how this is the closest she's getting to a romantic dinner anytime soon, but April assures her that she'll hear wedding bells someday. Irma goes to get the pizza and opens it, only to find a small creepy creature inside. Irma then promptly faints and April calls the turtles.
Irma later wakes up and is about to ask what she heard outside the room, but April says that she'll find out on the news later.
Irma ends up following one of the creatures into the sewers and calls April. When April arrives, the two hug, and Irma says that she was getting frightened without April. April says that now that they're all together there's no reason to be frightened. Irma then explains how she followed the creatures, before seeing a fully-grown one. April asks why she's sounds so nervous, but Irma faints upon seeing the creature again.

Irmapril has a pretty decent following among 1987 fans. Many hoping for her return in future TMNT media, so that April can have more friends outside of the turtles. On AO3, Irmapril is the second most written ship for Irma. There are currently 10+ written works.
