IronAppleShipping is the het ship between Amarys and Kieran from the Pokémon fandom.
Canon[]
Kieran and Amarys are both students attending the Blueberry Academy in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLCS, Indigo Disk. Prior to the player completing the story that comes before the Indigo Disk, the Teal Mask, the two likely only knew each other via Carmine, Kieran’s sister and Amarys’ best friend, or through the fact Amarys is the president of the student council.
Their first, albeit minor, interactions in the story occur when Drayton and the player meet in the cafeteria, along with the rest of the BB League Elite Four, to discuss the topic of whether the player should be allowed to join the League Club. Amarys explains that such an action would be strictly against school rules. In the end, Kieran is needed to be a tiebreaker, who, without any other comments, allows the player to join just for a chance at battling them, and walks off. Amarys is soon to follow, behind Lacey, after she has a brief argument with Drayton over manipulating Kieran just so the player could join the League Club.
After signing up, the player must battle Amarys in order to reach the final battle with Kieran. Upon beating her Elite trial, Amarys asks the player how they feel about Kieran. Her final comment before the match starts is about how she cares for Kieran, due to him being the younger brother of her dearest friend, Carmine, and how she wants to be the one to help him, and in order to do that, she feels that she must be the one to rise to the top of the BB League and battle him to bring him back to his senses. After the player defeats Amarys, she remarks that she understands that the player surely cares about Kieran much more than her. She wishes them the best of luck before leaving.
Upon defeating Kieran and catching Terapagos, Amarys can be found in classroom 3-2, where she thanks the player for their help in returning Kieran to his normal self. She explains that she is upset by the fact that, due to him withdrawing from the League Club, they cannot meet nearly as often, but reminds herself that, after all, they still attend the same school. More importantly, she mentions that she is so happy with how he has returned to his usual self, she has prepared a tremendous amount of the supplement used in her Elite trial, enabling the player to fly on their “Agias.” Additionally, she can be found in the League Club room, where she explains that she often feels aches in her chest or has a poor appetite when she thinks about Kieran, but upon going to the nurse’s office, she is told nothing is wrong with her.

IronAppleShipping is a somewhat-unpopular ship introduced in the Indigo Disk, nonetheless, it still has a loyal following. Due to the Indigo Disk being fairly short, the two don’t have very many canon interactions, and of the ones that do exist, are mostly of Amarys’ feelings towards, leading the ship to seem one-sided to some. Most content of them is fanon, ranging from edits to fanart. The two are far more popular platonically, as per most Indigo Disk pairings, with many fans coming up with how they believe they would interact post-Indigo Disk story. The ship rivals both DipplinShipping and CandyAppleShipping on Kieran’s side.
