Isabela x Plant is the cargo ship between Isabela Madrigal and plants from the Encanto fandom.

Canon

When Isabela came of age to revive her magical blessed gift from her grandmother's candle as a child, she was given the ability to control and summon plant life. Since then Isabela has surrounded herself with flowers and makes sure to share their beauty with the rest of Encanto, to please Alma. Who has Isabela be as beautiful and perfect as the flowers she grows. Everyone smiles when Isabela summons and shares her flowers. Along with using vines to lower herself into a room, like an angel. She is also shown to be able to swing with her vines, as Isa controls the direction she needs to be. Vines are also mentioned in Isa's part of "We Don't Talk About Bruno," as she talks about the vision Bruno had of her powers "growing like leaves on a vine."

Similar to her Aunt Pepa and her powers over the weather, Isa's powers are shown to react to her emotions as well. As shown when Dolores mentions how many children Mariano Guzmán wants, causing flowers to pop out from her hair. One of them being different and imperfect from the other flowers, Alma removes it like a dead head. Flower petals were also shown to trail from behind Isabela, as she and Alma talk about her marriage to Mariano. When the cracks from the dying miracle reached under Isabela, the shocks causes her to summon a plant from the cracks and it accidentally hits Mariano in the face. When Mirabel got Isabela to admit that she never wanted to marry him, the truth from her outburst leads to her creating a cactus. Something that is very different to the flowers and plants that Alma has her create.

Not only is her dressed covered in a flowery design, Isabela's room is also covered in flowers and plants that reflect her beauty. According to the art book on the film, Isa's room is a place where she can practice her powers. Vines are attached to the corners of her bed, as she uses her abilities to raise and lower it. Along with having a garden of shrubs in her image, that are of the perfect poses she is forced to do. After Isabela created her very first cactus and was amazed with it, she begins to fill her room with exotic plants. Summoning them made Isabela feel free and Mirabel encouraging Isa to embrace it, leads to Isa covering the roof and all of Encanto with her new favourite kind of plants. Some of those plants spread colorful pollen that dirty her clothes, but Isabela didn't care and was having fun covering herself in it as she dances. Alma, however, wasn't pleased and Isa felt shame as she watches her scold Mirabel for ruining her prefect granddaughter.

After Isabela lost her powers and was helping her family rebuild their home, she gets her sisters to help her plant cactus plants as the Madrigal family start to embrace their true selves, and to not live their lives as their gifts. Once the complexion of rebuild Casa led to the family gaining their powers back, Isabela uses her returned abilities to give herself a whole new look. One that reflects the new her and as part of its design reference exotic plants. She then fills their home with them. With her being done with pretty plants and flowers.

Fanon

Although most cargo ships were created as joke ships, cargo ships like these help fans to explore the powers and abilities of their favourite characters. As well as the elemental properties and nature of those powers. Isabela is one of many characters to have plant based powers, and to live her life as a flower.

Due to the nature of Isabela's powers it has Isabela fans draw her in a flowerily/plant-like settings, and have even partnered her up with Grass-type Pokemon to reference them. As the pretty flower based Pokémon are used to reference perfect Isa, while Maractus and Cacnea help to showcase free Isa. Isa's powers have even got her to be featured with other flowery characters, who have similar abilities to hers in Tumblr posts. Along with portraying her as one of those other characters, Poison Ivy being a common choice,[1] or have featured her in canon plant based groups. Like the Plant Coven from The Owl House, from how an Owl House AU has the Madrigals be commonly sorted into the covens that references the nature of their miracle blessed gifts, that is why the Plant Coven is a common choice for Isabela.

Some Elsabela fans like to think that Isa's powers work similar to Elsa's, from how the types of flowers and plants she unconsciously summoned reacted to her emotions. Along with "What Else Can I Do" having a similar energy to "Let It Go", as both songs had the two express themselves and the elemental properties of their powers.
