Isariano is the het ship between Isabela Madrigal and Mariano Guzmán from the Encanto fandom.

Canon

Isabela's beauty as the prefer golden child of her family caught the eye of Mariano Guzmán. Who is often seen smiling lovely at Isabela as she uses her powers, that help to showcase her beauty. Knowing that her grandmother what her to marry him, Isa smiles and acts nice to him. Despite her having no feelings for Mariano and doesn't want to marry him at all, but doesn't have the courage to tell Alma this.

The main reason why Alma wants them to become a couple is because the two are the spitting images of younger Alma and the late Pedro Madrigal. Giving Alma the hope that Isa and Mariano would be able to live the full life she never got to have with Pedro, and that she too gets to that life through them. This leaves Isabela having to hide her thoughts on the subject through smiles and acting like she does want to be his wife. While telling herself that her marrying him is for the good of the family, to help her go through with it.

Because she had kept these thoughts to herself, her family assumes that Mariano is her boyfriend and Mirabel ends up telling him that he can marry her sister. When Alma finally got round to arranging Isabela's engagement to Mariano, the news of him wanting five babies shocks Isabela. Along with her cousin, Camilo turning himself into Mariano to tease her. To top it off for her, the proposal was set to happen tonight. The flowers that popped out of her hair after hearing how many kids he wants, and how she was leaving flower petals with each step she took as Isa and Alma talk about her future engagement to Mariano, subjects that her powers were reacting to her true feelings about her not wanting to spend the rest of her life with him.

Isabelsa sits next to Mariano during the dinner party, before they get him to ask her the question they were all there for. She had no idea why her father and sister rushed the proposal, but Isabela still smiled to hide her true thoughts and hidden dread as Mariano began to ask Isa for her hand in marriage. She ends up breaking his nose by accident, due to the dying miracle and growing cracks that gets her powers to start acting up. Despite Isa escaping a proposal to someone she doesn't want to marry, she was still pretty angry of it being ruined and blames Mirabel for causing her to hurt Mariano.

When Isabela finally told someone that she doesn't want to marry Mariano, she discovers away to create none pretty plants. Filling her with joy for the first time in years. Even though her embracing her new ideal plants causes her to accidentally harm Mariano's already wounded nose again. Thanks to Mirabel setting Mariano with someone who does love him, Isabela is free to get out of her engagement to him.

Isariano is mostly seen as a crack ship even though Mariano was shown to have feelings for Isabela, who didn't feel the same way about him and was more than happy when he started to go out with Dolores. That is why there is very little support on this ship from people prefering to have them as friends or future in-laws.
