IttoFei is the het ship between Arataki Itto and Yanfei from the Genshin Impact fandom.

Background[]
Itto and Yanfei did not meet until shortly before the start of the Act II Interlude, Perilous Trail. Itto, while accompanying Kuki Shinobu in Liyue to pick up her graduation certificate from the Tongwen Academy, got into trouble with the Millelith and was rescued from imprisonment by Yanfei. Itto, grateful for the gesture, asked if she needed help with anything, which she denied before leaving for The Chasm. Itto, displeased with this answer, followed her to The Chasm just in case she needed him to come "leaping to her rescue".
Interlude Chapter: Act II - Perilous Trail[]
Unbeknownst to Itto and Shinobu, Yanfei is aware she has been trailed to The Chasm and asks the Traveler to get the pair off her trail, as she is in the midst of executing a will and considers this a private matter. Itto and Shinobu arrive shortly after and question the Traveler about Yanfei's whereabouts - and at Shinobu's subtle urging, the Traveler lies and sends the pair away from where Yanfei has gone.
When the Traveler meets back up with Yanfei, she explains she is attempting to find a certain magical device in order to execute a will. While discussing the matter with the Traveler and a recently-arrived Yelan, Itto and Shinobu return, with Itto angrily confronting the Traveler for throwing him off Yanfei's trail and starting an argument with Yelan. As Yanfei steps in to defuse the situation, the floor below the group collapses and they plunge deep into The Chasm.
After realizing the group is now trapped, Yanfei finally discloses the nature of this magical device - called the "Fantastic Compass" - and apologizes for being evasive about her intent in The Chasm. After traversing several underground domains and rescuing the adeptus Xiao, the group is informed that the only way for them to escape is to use the last of Xiao's power to escape, leaving him behind.
As the group argues over this, Itto - having overheard the discussion - grows agitated by the arguing and uses his full strength to punch a hole through the seemingly inescapable tunnel before passing out, revealing a new passage way. Yanfei questions whether their argument is what triggered this reaction from Itto, to which Shinobu explains that he simply hates self-sacrifice and despite only knowing the group for a short time, he sees them as a team and refuses to lose anyone. Knowing Itto can no longer defend himself, she casts a protective spell around his unconscious body and leaves Shinbou to watch over him as the rest of the group explores the new passage.
Through this passage, the group discovers Yanfei's "Fantastic Compass", which she believes can be used to aid in their escape. They return to Shinobu and Itto, where Yanfei explains that the compass will respond to the combined power of a human and an adeptus. After Xiao and Yelan activate the compass, the group is able to escape from The Chasm and return to the surface.
Itto finally awakens shortly after reaching the surface, with Yanfei immediately pressing him and demanding he tell them if he isn't feeling well. She explains that they are indebted to him, his familiar Ushi, and Shinobu, and apologizes for her role in getting them caught up in the mess involving the compass. Itto explains that this was just his way of paying her back from saving him from prison. Yanfei, accepting this, offers to bring the two to Liyue Harbor for a meal and sight-seeing as a celebration of their new friendship, and promises the Traveler she will take good care of them.

IttoFei began having a presence after the release of the Perilous Trails interlude quest, popular with shippers who see it as romantic or platonic. Common themes in fanworks of the pair include: Yanfei comically seeing Itto as a nuisance, the highlighting of Itto seeing Yanfei as his "savior", the relationship being between a member of the criminal justice system and the leader of a criminal gang, and the classic duo trope of a smart character and their strong partner. Some shippers enjoy the idea of pairing the two due to their statuses as some of the few visibly non-human characters in the series, with Itto being a descendent of the crimson oni and Yanfei being the child of an adeptus. A common theme in fanart of the two involves bringing attention to their horns and having the two bond over possessing them.
Some fans dislike the ship as they see Yanfei's annoyance at Itto's pushiness toward her to be difficult to overlook. Additionally, many fans see prefer to see Itto and Yanfei in slash or femslash ships, respectively, and therefore prefer to see the ship platonically if at all.
