IwaKage is the slash ship between Hajime Iwaizumi and Tobio Kageyama from the Haikyu!! fandom.
Canon[]
Iwaizumi is a 3rd year and an ace and wing spiker while Kageyama is a 1st year and a setter. They went from the same middle school, Kitagawa Daiichi Junior High, and were both on the volleyball team. During the middle school year Kageyama was always following Oikawa to learn new techniques from him. Once when Kageyama was about to hit Kageyama for asking him to teach him to serve, Iwaizumi was there to stop Oikawa from hitting Kageyama. Iwaizumi protected Kageyama and scolded Oikawa to calm down.
At the graduation of the 3rd year, Oikawa and Iwaizumi greet their junior waiting for them at Aoba Johsai. But Kageyama did not go to Aoba Johsai and instead went to Karasuno High. Iwaizumi was surprised when he saw Kageyama with the Karasuno team. Karasuno and Aoba Johsai went against each other a total of three times, one match being a practice match and the other two being the Interhigh and Spring High matches. Aoba Johsai won in the Interhigh match while Karasuno won in the practice match and in the Spring High match.
While one of the two team doesn't playing, during the Interhigh and Spring High matches, they watched/analyzed the team and their game (for example Karasuno watched Aoba johsai vs Date tech; Aoba johsai watched Karasuno vs Wakutani South)..While everyone are affascinate by the spiker (Hinata), Iwaizumi praise Kageyama and his good technique even said that "The real amazing one is the setter". Even Kageyama know how good is Iwaizumi and found him one of the best player in Aoba Johsai, instead of Ushijima who said that only Oikawa is good while the other aren't good enough. This good estimate between the two leave not real rival between them, only on the court, but out of that they are in good state.
After a long time of being in two total different place Iwaizumi and Kageyama meet again in 2021, but this time they aren't against each other, instead their on the same side of the Japan Men's National Volleyball Team, Kageyama as the setter and Iwaizumi as the trainer.

Fanon[]
IwaKage is a small pairing in its fandom, being considered by many as a rarepair. It's rivaled by more popular ships such as Iwaizumi's ship with Oikawa and Kageyama's ship with Hinata. As a way to pair off the four, IwaKage is normally shipped alongside OiHina. There is barely any fan art of Iwaizumi and Kageyama alone together. Though, there is some fan fiction of them. There's currently 360+ romantic works and 150+ gen works of the pairing on AO3.
