Season 5[]
EXTREME RISK
After hurting herself on the holodeck, B'Elanna is taken to sickbay. She is awoken and insists on going back to work, but the Doctor says that Janeway asked him to keep her there. Janeway then enters and tells the Doctor to excuse them. B'Elanna asks what's going on and Janeway lists all the injuries that the Doctor found on B'Elanna. B'Elanna says that the accident was pretty serious, but Janeway says that those injuries aren't recent. B'Elanna says that she's had her fair share of injuries, but Janeway points out that B'Elanna didn't seek treatment for any of them. B'Elanna says she doesn't go to sickbay for everything and Janeway says that some of the injuries were life threatening. B'Elanna asks if she looks like she's dying and Janeway says that they looked treated by an amteur. B'Elanna says that's ridiculous and Janeway asks if it is. She asks why B'Elanna turned off the safety protocols during the simulation and B'Elanna says it was to try and see what would happen during a real flight. Janeway asks if B'Elanna expects her to believe that, and B'Elanna asks if she's calling her a liar. Janeway asks if she'd find the safety off on all of B'Elanna's holodeck trips and B'Elanna asks if she wants to see her personal logs as well. Janeway says she's worried about her and wants to help if something is wrong, but B'Elanna says that nothings wrong and asks if that's okay. Janeway says that's not okay and that she'll remain in sickbay till she's more forthcoming. She takes B'Elanna off the shuttle project and knows that something wrong when B'Elanna doesn't care.
Season 7[]
ENDGAME
B'Elanna and Janeway are at the Voyager reunion, where B'Elanna and her discuss the request Janeway made to her. B'Elanna says that the Klingon high council had a lot of questions and Janeway asks what she told them. B'Elanna says she told them that Janeway would be honored to submit Karat's house for consideration, with the twist of describing Janeway as saving B'Elanna in glorious battle many times. Janeway asks if B'Elanna thinks it'll work, and B'Elanna hopes that she has some influence. She points out that Janeway hasn't told her why she's doing this, and Janeway says that he's an old friend. B'Elanna asks if this has to do with the mission she sent her daughter on, and Janeway says she can't talk about it. B'Elanna asks why she couldn't have waited till after the reunion, given how much she wanted to be there, and Janeway assures her that her daughter will be home soon.

JanewayTorres is a smaller pairing in the overall Star Trek fandom, but has a decent following in the Voyager fandom. Although more often the two are shipped with either Seven of Nine or their canon male love interests. On AO3, JanewayTorres is the fourth most written for Janeway and the third most written for B'Elanna. It is also the ninth most written ship in the Star Trek: Voyager tag.
