Jangar is the het ship between Janet and Edgar from the Brawl Stars fandom.
Canon[]
Janet and Edgar are playable characters in Brawl Stars and, depending on the player's choices, can face off or cooperate in online modes. Edgar was the first of them on get release, releasing on 12/19/2020 for free, announced in the Brawl Talk on 12/13/2020, while Janet was released on 05/02/2022 in the Brawl Pass, Announced in the Brawl Talk on 04/23/2022.
Edgar appears in 'Good Randoms' concert.
They don't interact in the game. However, in the 'Good Randoms' clip, where Janet along with the other members of the Good Randoms (Buzz, Poco and Stu) perform on the scenery, Edgar can be seen in the crowd watching the concert (Red circled on the image) with other fellow brawlers, such as Colette and Spike. Also, he plays in the clip My only Trophy, who is the video that announces the beginning of the new season "Good Randoms": he have the role of the bad random with Mortis and, initially, Melodie against the Good Randoms (Buzz, Stu, Poco) who replenish a game of gem grab, even if he still doesn't interact with Janet
Janet and Edgar have multiple things in common, for example, both have the capacities of go up in air with their super, Janet using her rocket and Edgar taking impulse with a jump for a few seconds. They are both teenagers and both 16 (Approximately), both likes to make stunts, Janet in the stuntshow and Edgar doing parkour, both use gloves (although Edgar uses fingerless gloves), both have red on their clothes, both are related to the music and both of them are related to the Bad Randoms, Edgar being a fan of them demonstrated by his Bad Randoms shirt and Janet being the adoptive daughter of Stu confirmed on multiple videos and official arts, and Stu being a member of Bad Randoms going by the nickname of Wicked Stu. Bad Randoms eventually becomes Good Randoms and Janet becomes member of the band, both facts potentially implying that Edgar is a fan of Janet. Both are ambitious; on the description of Janet, they say that she would be the best and reach the top, for Edgar, we could see on his title "CEO of Brawl Stars", this indicates a certain ambition.
They have also differences: Edgar is a shop-worker, who didn't reclams any attention and Janet is a stuntwoman and a popstar who does not hide and would many attention. They have very contrasting personalities, Edgar being introvert and Janet being extrovert. They also have different fashion styles, Edgar having an emo-like style and Janet having a more diverse style to complement her stunt show job. Also, Edgar using dark colors for his clothes and Janet using more bright ones. According to the gameplay mechanics, they have different qualities, types, and ranges. Edgar being an epic quality, assassin and short-range brawler, and Janet being an mythic (formerly chromatic), marksmen and medium-range brawler.

Jangar has a small fan base, although a very friendly and non-toxic one. Some artists draw this ship, like @Ben_G_06 being the one who draws the ship the most, as well as participating in Shiptober with Jangar precisely or @luvsannaa (innactive on twitter, but in her tiktok is more active, loveefool_) .
Many people like this ship because of the contrast between them, Edgar being the complete opposite of Janet. It is also probably one of the reasons the people who previously liked Edlette started to ship Jangar, since they are Opposites Attract too and saw Janet like a Colette more moderated. Others started to like this ship after knowing of the age difference of more famous ones.
People have a lot of headcanons of them even if they haven’t interacted. Some members of the community thinks that even if Edgar is not famous in the lore, this does not prevent Janet from seeing his inner beauty and not being interested in celebrities. Some headcanons saw them like Edgar as a secret fan of Janet because he would stay his reputation and would that nobody discovers that he’s a secret fan and Janet help him to help to assume and accepts him. Others saw that Janet have trust problems because she's a perfectionist and it got worse with the arrival of Melodie and, to help her, Edgar will restore her confidence. Others thinks than Janet falls in love with Edgar, but he only sees her as a friend, but with the time and the trust of each other, he will slowly fall in love with her. People who made the theory that Edgar and Melodie are the same person thinks that Edgar made that to get noticed for Janet but it did not give the intended effect since she hates Melodie and Edgar would try to repair that. And others think that Edgar in the first time he saw her on the stunt show, he fell completely in love with her. It could work too after wanting to see how the Bad Randoms changed, and falling in love with her once seeing her in the concert, singing and dancing.
Initially, this ship is not popular because it’s is eclipsed by most popular pairings like Edlette or Fanet and he gains of popularity since the ages are revelated which Janet and Edgar are minors[1][2] and Colette and Fang[3] are adults. Despite a strong fan base that has strengthened following these revelations, this ship is still eclipsed by these pairings which they defends the idea that ages of brawlers aren't fixed and could change but the Jangar defenders thinks that if ages changes, Supercell has to change the brawlers completely because the fact that Janet and Edgar are teenagers are part of the characters’ essence.
