Main Comics[]
Jason is restrained with a sword to his throat by Rose; this is their first ever meeting
Rose "Ravager" Wilson and Jason "Red Hood" Todd first meet when Red Hood is suspected of a murder that he didn't commit; as he is struggling against capture by the Titans, Ravager restrains him with a sword to his throat, while flirting with him. Donna Troy provides an alibi for Jason, and Ravager releases him, but continues flirting with him while admiring his looks.[1]
Rose and Jason have crossed paths several more times in comics throughout the years, usually alluding to wild adventures and relationship development that occurred off screen. Usually their encounters start with Rose making outrageously horny comments to provoke Jason, while Jason seemingly ignores her passes—but then the two relax, and it's clear they trust and support each other.
Ravager and Red Hood later cross paths when Ravager is hired as a mercenary to track Starfire. Ravager and Red Hood clash, and reveal they have romantic history through suggestive banter when Ravager pins Red Hood to the ground while they hold each other at gunpoint.[2] Ravager ends up on the same side as Red Hood, and she offers comforting words when he parts ways with his teammates. The duo then walk together into the distance at the end of the story.[3]
During Dark Nights: Death Metal, there is a brief cameo of Ravager again flirting with Red Hood.[4]
When teenage Robin, Damian Wayne, runs away from the Wayne household to compete against other fighters in the deadly Lazarus Tournament, fellow contestant Ravager tips off Red Hood, who then unites with the other three former Robins to intercept the littlest Robin out of concern for his safety. After Robin makes his getaway with Nightwing's blessing, he complains to Ravager for ratting him out to Red Hood. Robin questions, "What's the deal with you two—?", but the conversation is interrupted by a tournament announcement.[5] Later, a flashback shows Ravager on a phone call, venting her family drama to Red Hood, who reports to her that Oracle is tracking Deathstroke, her father; when Ravager attacked by a group of ninjas, she tells Jason that she'll call him back.[6]
Ravager supports Red Hood during a Gotham War—a chaotic event in which Batman struggles with his Zur-En-Arrh split personality, Vandal Savage installs himself as the city's police commissioner, Red Hood insinuates his way into Catwoman's enterprising thieves' guild, two Jokers stir up Gotham's Rogues, and a meteor hurtles toward the city.[7][8] After Red Hood is arrested and jailed for murdering a Joker, Ravager intercepts his prison transport[9] and joins him on his journey to thwart the brewing trouble in Gotham. They split up, with Red Hood tasking her to contact an ally, then rendezvous at "our spot"—which turns out to be the rooftop of a local burger restaurant. When he doesn't show at their agreed meeting time due to being abducted, she manages to dig up the elusive contact information of his mysterious ally known as "Marquise". Although Ravager simply identifies herself as "a friend of Red Hood's", Marquise reports that "[Red Hood]'s lover is worried" to Vandal Savage.[10] Red Hood manages to compose himself enough to foil the schemes of the Joker and other Rogues, while Ravager impersonates him to distract Batman with a chase through the city. The villains destroy part of a major bridge, sending them and Red Hood into the bay below. Ravager dives into the water, pulls the unconscious Red Hood to shore, and revives him with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation—while scolding him for his recklessness, to which he responds with an exhausted laugh.[11]
Through an unknown misadventure, Ravager ends up serving a stint with the Suicide Squad; her profile mentions that her most recent sighting "was last seen in Gotham in the arms of the stray Bat, Red Hood".[12]
DCeased[]
After the zombie apocalypse, Rose and Jason grew closer as they worked together to protect their ragtag band of survivors. They eventually got married.
Future State[]
Rose rescues Jason in Future State: Dark Detective #4 (2021)
Their relationship is a driving force of the first arc of the Red Hood storyline. Jason first appears sitting undressed on the edge of the bed that he shares with Rose, who is curled up asleep.[13]
Titans (2018 TV series)[]
Rose's first scenes have her stealing a car, then being caught on camera beating up some cops. The Titans watch the news, very impressed by her abilities with Jason even calling Rose "a total badass". At the end of the episode, Jason discovers she is the daughter of Deathstroke.
As Jason is struggling with trauma and rejection from his teammates, Rose steps in to connect with him. They bond over their shared interests in theater and dance, singing a song from West Side Story. They begin a physical relationship, and their pair up as a couple when the Titans temporarily disband.
It's revealed that Rose romanced Jason as part of a plot to infiltrate the Titans on behalf of her father, Deathstroke. While Rose developed some feelings for Jason and sides with the Titans against Slade, Jason can't bring himself to return to their romantic relationship. (Note that this infiltration plot is an adaptation of the "Judas Contract" storyline that originally and most commonly involves Garfield Logan and Terra instead of Rose and Jason.)
Quotes[]

Fanon[]
Traces of ship activity date back to 2010. Since their father (figure)s, are bitter enemies, many DC fans find comedy value in Batman and Deathstroke becoming in-laws through their children's union.
In Justice League: Generation Lost #14, there is a cameo of a character named Thomas Grayson, who is the future Red Hood, and wears Red Hood's helmet with Deathstroke-like body armor. Fans speculate that Thomas could be a descendant of Rose and Jason, raised by the Grayson family; or Thomas could be Dick Grayson's descendant mentored by Rose and Jason; or Rose, Jason, and Dick could all be ancestors.
