Jaylice is the femslash ship between Serial Designation J and Alice from the Murder Drones fandom.

Canon[]

Alice and J have never interacted throughout the series. This leaves their character features up for comparison. Alice and J are both merciless murderers that spare no mercy for those they wish to target. Alice lurks in the underground labs and destroys Disassembly Drones for her own morbid entertainment and supposed survival of scavenging parts. If it weren't for Cyn, underneath the disguise as Tessa Elliott, ordering J to tend to the ship, it's very likely J would have found herself caught in Alice's clutches like the rest.

Alice and J have an indirect connection with each other that entails the Absolute Solver. Though never directly implied nor stated, a screen that Cyn encounters displays all infected Worker Drones with the Solver. Alice appears on this list, though the monitor fails to drop the answer from there that she indeed is infected with the Absolute Solver. Regardless, J has an alliance with the Solver whereas Alice has suffered violent bullying and possible possession with it. Their differing opinions on the Absolute Solver may seem like a huge opposition between each other, but J, much like Alice, has had many traumatizing experiences with the deadly program.

J hinted through her own words that she joined the Absolute Silver alliance out of pure cowardice. The Solver has given her nearly fatal occurrences in her past as a former Worker Drone, as well. Overall, Alice and J's shared fear and or hatred towards the virus-like program is a major similarity between them. They can arguably be considered indirect enemies due to J siding with the Solver.

Fanon[]

Jaylice is an extreme rarepair within the fanbase. Tipping into the analysis side, shippers may enjoy their romantic pairing for many diverse reasons. One could include the endearing dynamic of pairing their contrasting personalities. Alice is a carefree, reckless psychopath that more so enjoys her killings for her hobby rather than survival. J, in contrast, is a serious woman with an independent and workaholic mindset.

Her carnage was performed for the sole purpose of appealing to her home company, JCJenson (later unearthed to be Cyn), who forced the belief that all Worker Drones are parasites into her subconscious. The duo easily fit underneath the Badass Gay trope. Though some may argue that Alice is a weaker character in comparison to J, she did manage to survive Disassembly Drone attacks and carries no fear towards her antagonizers. Albeit she is wary around the Sentinels which later led to inevitable demise.
