Jefftony is the slash ship between Jeff and Tony from the EarthBound fandom.
Canon[]
Jeff and Tony are friends and roommates at Snow Wood Boarding School in Winters. One night, Jeff receives a telepathic message from Paula asking for his help. Jeff immediately goes to leave, but Tony stops him and asks where he's going, and warns him of the dorm rules. Tony is worried about what's wrong, but he understands that it must be important and offers to help Jeff prepare for his journey.
Once Jeff is ready to go, Tony goes with him outside and gets on his hands and knees in front of the school gate so that Jeff can use him as a stepstool to get over the gate. Tony tells Jeff to remember they will always be best friends, as Jeff jumps over the gate.
Part way through the adventure, in Summers, Tony calls Jeff, happy that he finally managed to get a hold of him. After the player registers their name, Tony asks them not to put Jeff into any dangerous situations, because he really worries about him. Before hanging up, he says he is hoping to see Jeff again. He stalls on the phone before finally ending the call.
Upon reaching the Stonehenge Base, Jeff and co. find a room full of test tubes, with Tony inside one. Tony can't see anything, but he calls out for Jeff. After defeating the Starman Deluxe and Tony is freed, he excitedly thanks Jeff for coming to rescue him.
During one of the prayer scenes in the fight with Giygas, Tony along with the others at Snow Wood pray for the safety of Jeff and his friends. At the end of the game, Poo delivers some letters with PSI Farewell, one of them being from Tony, addressed to Jeff. Visiting Winters, Tony will be outside Snow Wood with Maxwell, and will say disappointedly that Jeff doesn't call him. He wonders if Jeff finds him annoying. He also tells Ness that if he sees Jeff, tell him to call Tony.

Jefftony is a popular ship in the EarthBound fandom, being the second most popular ship tag for the fandom on AO3 . It sailed for Tony being a great, supportive friend to Jeff, and even more so when Tony was confirmed to have a crush on Jeff. Sometimes Tony is portrayed as being overly obsessive of Jeff, but generally more just as being a concerned and caring friend.
