Jinhua is the femslash ship between Jinhsi and Sanhua from the Wuthering Waves fandom.
Canon[]
In canon, Sanhua and Jinhsi are close allies and friends. Jinhsi is the ordained Magistrate of Jinzhou, personally appointed by Sential Jué when she was only a teenager, and Sanhua is her loyal and reliable bodyguard. Born visionless, Sanhua later acquired the ability to see the frequencies of all living beings, at the cost of being unable to see normally. Other than Rover, Sanhua mentions that Jinhsi is the only person who appears as clear and undistorted to her. Sanhua often refers to Jinhsi respectfully as "My lady", whereas Jinhsi calls her by name.
Main Quest Line: Chapter 1[]
Jinhsi first appears in the main quest as a holographic message, requesting that a visitor with utmost importance, Rover, meet with her personally at the City Hall of Jinzhou. However, when Rover arrives at the City Hall, rather than Jinhsi, Rover is greeted by Sanhua, who introduces herself as Jinhsi's bodyguard. Sanhua apologises for Jinhsi's absence and passes on messages alongside some tokens from Jinhsi to Rover. Sanhua mentions how Rover shares the same frequency as Jinhsi, meaning that Rover also appears to her "as they are" rather than distorted and blurry. Further in the chapter, Sanhua is shown watching over Rover who is being followed by members of the Fractsidus, later is it confirmed that Sanhua has been reporting back Rover's condition to Jinhsi.
Eventually, Sanhua and Jinhsi arrest Fractsidus Overseer Scar with the help of Rover. When Scar asks Jinhsi to come closer so that he may whisper a tell her a secret regarding Sential Jué's status, Sanhua is outranged and vocalises her concern, however, Jinhsi nods at her in reassurance and goes to speak to Scar. After Scar is put in jail and Rover leaves, Jinhsi and Sanhua talk privately. Jinhsi asks Sanhua to handle her responsibilities in her upcoming absence, Sanhua agrees easily and asks if Jinhsi would like her to continue protecting Rover, however, Jinhsi declines, stating that with her and Lady Changli away, there is more than enough work for Sanhua to do already. When Sanhua is visibly uncomfortable, Jinhsi tells Sanhua to place more trust in her, and Sanhua states she will. Sanhua promises that her sword is always Jinhsi's no matter what happens, at which Jinhsi smiles.
Sanhua's Character Stories[]
The Magistrate's Bodyguard[]
Jinhsi appears frequently in Sanhua's character stories, acting as a focus or motivator for Sanhua. In Sanhua's first character story, "The Magistrate's Bodyguard", it is mentioned that Sanhua is more commonly called "the Magistrat's Bodyguard" rather than her own name, due to her always being seen standing silently behind Jinhsi, tall and poised, like a sharp blade ready to be unsheathed at any moment. The story mentions how some individuals opposing Jinhsi's title of Jinzhou's Magistrate attempt to attack her, however, due to Sanhua's ability to detect lies, she would within seconds subdue the threats and protect Jinhsi's "radiance" from "contamination."
Lingering Coldness[]
Sanhua's third character story narrates her inability to socialise, having a silent and reserved personality that frequently leaves others feeling wary of her ice-like front. The story explains that despite Sanhua's strong and vigilant outward appearance, she suffers from nightmares about snow, often dreaming about being surrounded by monsters as she slowly transforms into a monster herself. The story recounts a time Sanhua was startled awake from a nightmare and noticed the presence of light, realising that it was Jinhsi working on her documents. Sanhua apologises for falling asleep on duty, but Jinhsi reiterates that she wanted Sanhua to rest up, and even told her so. Sanhua tells Jinhsi that she also must rest and that Sanhua herself will finish the documents, but Jinhsi refuses, before smiling "mischievously" and asking Sanhua to stay and talk with her while she works. Sanhua agrees easily and asks if Jinhsi would like her to recite the Heart Sutra, but Jinhsi says she heard Sanhua mumbling in her sleep and asks what she was dreaming about. Sanhua jokes that she was reciting the Heart Sutra in her dream and Jinhsi complains about the documents becoming tiring. Then, Sanhua says with a warm smile, "I dreamt of you, my lady. You were standing in the snow... You looked beautiful." The story ends with Sanhua reflecting on how her journey ahead was not to be walked alone.
Thawing Frost[]
Sanhua's last character story describes Sanhua and Jinhsi's first meeting. It begins with Sanhua fighting a dangerous and snowy battlefield, surrounded by hundreds of corpses piled atop one another, some bearing the faces of her companions. Eventually, Sanhua collapses from exhaustion as she is overwhelmed by the Tacet Discords and hallucinations, feeling as if she is back in her nightmare. Sanhua is near death as coldness consumes her body and the feeling of warmth slips away from her as the world around her becomes silent and dark when suddenly, a fleck of white enters her sight. Thinking it's a snowflake, Sanhua attempts to reach out but is met with warmth, rather than cold. Standing in front of her and shielding her from harm is a graceful young woman, with a frequency Sanhua had never seen before. This woman is Jinhsi, who eradicates all the lingering Tacet Discords with her lighting abilities. Upon seeing this, Sanhua describes it as frozen time beginning to flow again in her life. To herself, she decides that Jinhsi may be the guiding light for all people and takes up her blade, transforming her demons into the power for protection.

The Amorphous[]
Sanhua's cherished item is a collection of monster and human shadow puppets. The description of this item recounts the story of how Jinhsi wanted to see the world through Sanhua's eyes, so Sanhua asked a famous shadow puppet master to show Jinhsi her corner of hell, creating rough monster puppets as representation of the distortion Sanhua experiences. However, Sanhua's world won Jinhsi's favour, which "gave Sanhua the illusion that she could also fall in love with this hell." In addition to the monster puppets, there is also a pair of delicate human puppets, (Sanhua herself and Jinhsi) which Sanhua keeps privately.

- Sanhua is a Glacio Mutant Resonator who was born blind in both eyes, however a Tacet Discord-related blizzard left frequency erosions to her right eye, leading to Sanhua's vision abilities and her Awakening.
- Sanhua's Tacet Mark is located on her right pupil and is only visible when she activates her forte, additionally, there is evidence of advancing erosion in this right eye.
- Jinhsi is a Spectro Congenital resonator with a resonance spectrum pattern that shows great resemblance to that of Sentinel Jué, due to this connection, the exact cause of her Awakening has not been uncovered.
