JoulePearlectra is the poly ship between Electra, Pearl and Joule from the Starlight Express fandom.

Wembley Park[]

As Rusty and Pearl are talking, Joule appears at Pearls side on behalf of Electra. She then stands guards as Pearl is asked to be Electra's racing partner. Later, Electra arrives after the second race, with Joule and the rest of the components with them. They then pull Pearl over, and she stops in front of Joule. Rusty then announces that he plans to take Momma's place in the finals, and Electra pulls Pearl and the components to circle and taunt him. Joule behind Pearl and making sure that Rusty doesn't get close to her. Joule then skates off with Electra while Pearl stays behind to watch Rusty.

JoulePearlectra is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. Mostly due to the limited interactions between all three at once. As well as both Joule and Electra being shipped with Pearl far less often. Its rival ships include Electraboose, Prusty and Arson Girlfriends. It is sometimes paired with the Electronents ship, with it being a side relationship in that dynamic.

Some fans believe that Joule was attracted to Pearl just as Electra was. With the two being in a relationship already and wanting to add her to it. With that being one of the reasons that she's asked to race with Electra. Others like the idea that the three hooked up during Pearl's time with Electra. Or that Pearl has considered being with the two of them as well as Rusty. Some also like the for aesthetic reasons. Feeling that Pearls pink would work well with both Joule and Electra's blues and reds. As well as her style matching theirs, as she often stands out more than the other trains of the show.
