JoyFire is the poly ship between Jason Todd, Roy Harper and Koriand'r from the DC Comics fandom.

Red Hood and the Outlaws[]
Jason has broken Roy out of prison, when they're confronted by a large amount of tanks. Koriand'r then shows up and destroys them all, Roy asking if she's with him. Jason says that she has been "with" him, much to Roy's disbelief. Kori then flies beside them and asks Jason if there's anything else that he needs. Jason suggests that she fly ahead and take out some bad guys, which she gladly does. Roy is upset that she didn't say hi to him, and Jason says that she's got a lot on her mind.
A few weeks later, the three are on a beach, and Roy asks if Kori will be mad when she finds out how Jason had tried to kill Dick several times. Jason says it's not an issue given that tamaraneans have such a short attention span, and don't really see humans as anything more than distractions. He suggests Roy ask about the team she used to be on with him, and steps away. He does and she doesn't remember their old team at all. He points out that Jason is talking to himself, but Kori chooses to ignore it in favor of asking if Roy wants to hook up. Roy is confused, as he thought she was with Jason, but Kori says she's free to do as she wishes. Roy then agrees and the two go off to hook up.

JoyFire is a common pairing in the DC fandom. With the creation of the ship coming from the New 52. As this was the first time the three had ever interacted with each other. As well as them creating a team together. The ship is somewat controversial, due to the comic not being very good, and many seeing it as character assassination for all three. With many saying that the ship wouldn't work if they were more in character. On AO3, JoyFire is the fifth most written ship for Roy and the second most written for Kori. There are currently 440 works.
