JunHun is the slash ship between Hwang Jun-ho and Seong Gi-hun from the Squid Game fandom.

Season 1[]
After players were able to leave the games following the vote, Gi-hun immediately went to the police station and reported the Squid Games. When he promted the officer to call the phone number on the back of the business cards that they were given, he was swiftly kicked out as the officers believed he was crazy. Jun-ho seeing all of that hapenning asks if everything is okay with that guy and whether he's drunk, referring to Gi-hun. Following the explanation, Jun-ho sees the business card that Gi-hun left behind and remembers it for later.

Later, after Jun-ho discovers the same business card in his brothers apartment, he comes back to the police station to ask for more information on Gi-hun to try and find him. He claims he's just an old acquaintance of his and asks for his home address. Gi-hun while coming back home under the rain, after an argument with Ga-yeong's stepfather, encounters Jun-ho with an umbrella who introduces himself and starts asking questions about the games. Gi-hun answers that he just made it all up, but Jun-ho is insistent and tells him that he found the same business card in his brothers apartment, as well as informs him about his search for his brother. To that, Gi-hun claims he just picked the business card off the floor to put into his pocket and tries to walk off, to which Jun-ho stops him again and requests for his help. At last, Gi-hun declines by stating that he's not in the position to help and leaves Jun-ho behind.
When Gi-hun choses the join the games again and gets into the car, as it leaves, Jun-ho is in his car following behind.
Eventually during the games, after Jun-ho's successful infiltration and disguise as a manager, he comes up to Gi-hun after the special game and asks him whether he knows someone by the name of "Hwang In-ho". To that, Gi-hun answers that they don't use names here. Later when Jun-ho is searching through the documents in the office, he finds Gi-huns records.
Season 2[]
Now working as a traffic cop, Jun-ho forces Gi-hun, unbeknownst to who it was, to pull over for speeding and asks his coworker to give him a ticket. He gives Gi-hun the ticket and the latter drives off without a word. Jun-ho comes up to him in confusion and his coworker describes that the weird person had a lot of phones in his car, to which Jun-ho checks who the ticket was for and finds out it was Gi-hun. Later, he is searching for Gi-hun in the Police Enquiry System and after he remembers him, finds his car and his the manufacturing company.
Jun-ho breaks into the building of the company that Gi-hun's car belongs to, through the window, and finds where Gi-hun lives by reading his documents. He finds the Pink Motel, enters inside and hears a gunshot, after which he goes up the stairs and start opening every single door. Going up to the last door, he barges in and finds Gi-hun inside with The Recruiters body on the chair. Jun-ho orders Gi-hun to put his hands up, pushes him against the bathroom stall and searches him. While telling him that he's a suspect, he's interrupted as he gets bashed on the head by Woo-seok.

After Jun-ho wakes up from unconsciousness in a bathroom, being tied by a shower cord, Gi-hun starts questioning him on his identity. When Jun-ho starts explaining himself, Gi-hun interrupts him because he doesn't believe him, accuses him of working for the Front Man and threatens him with a gun. Jun-ho brings up the moment he asked Gi-hun if he knew who "Hwang In-ho" was and the latter remembers it, so he drops the accusation. He then explains to him how The Recruiter died, and how he's going to stop the games. Jun-ho then brings up the topic of the Front Man and gets asked whether he knows how he looks like. He lies to Gi-hun by saying he hasn't seen his face, tells him about the VIPS instead and wishes to be released as he reasons that he will be of assistance for him. Gi-hun declines his offer but Jun-ho insists that he should help him and asks him whether he will be able to forget all those deaths on the island. Gi-hun gives in.
He leads Jun-ho with Woo-seok to the room with his winnings from his previous games and offers them money for their help. However, both decline with Jun-ho saying he's not doing this for money. Then Gi-hun opens up the door to the bathroom with an arsenal of weapons. Jun-ho sees an AK-47 and picks it up, makes a remark about how they're from the black market and asks whether they work. Gi-hun takes the weapon from his hands and leads them to the training grounds covered by a curtain. Jun-ho watches as Gi-hun shoots into a dummy and then is offered the weapon back. After he takes it, Gi-hun says they can come here to practise shooting and recommends Jun-ho to leave his job.

Woo-seok is recommending the people he brought to the training grounds, explaining who they are. Gi-hun is introduced to their leader, Mercenary Kim and they talk about their plan, to which Jun-ho chimes in saying he'll join Gi-hun. To that, Gi-hun refuses the idea and says because he has been on the island before that they'll recognise him. As he continues talking, he looks at Jun-ho and warns that something might happen to himself and as he was about to finish his sentence, Woo-seok interrupts him.
On the 31st of October, Gi-hun with Woo-seok and Jun-ho pull up to the club from afar in their car. After a quick conversation, Gi-hun and Woo-seok start their plan and get into the club, while Jun-ho is left sitting in the car. After a while, he sees the pink guards and tries warn the two about them, joining the club as well to try and find them. However, by that point Gi-hun is already being led by one of the pink guards outside.
As Gi-hun is inside the limousine, Jun-ho and his group are behind following them. However, the tires of their cars get shot by a sniper and they are unable to follow further. While Gi-hun is talking about how he wants to join the games back, Jun-ho is seen to be listening through his earpiece. After Gi-hun joins the games, Jun-ho and his crew try to find the island that he was taken to.

Although not that of a popular ship, the two have an interesting dynamic that the fans of the ship like. Gi-hun, who's trying to take down the Front Man of the Squid Games, is allies with the brother of said Front Man who has lied about not seeing his face. Jun-ho has also numerously begged something of Gi-hun, whether it be his help or him helping the other. Most works about the two explore their relationship outside the games, whether it be before the games in 2024 or after, as well as in AU's. Fans of the ship also make scenarios about how funny it would be if In-ho, the Front Man, would find out that his brother is in a relationship with the guy who's trying to take him down.
The ship currently has over 200+ works on AO3. It's usually a background paring to Aliwoo.
