Jundori is the het ship between Junpei Iori and Chidori Yoshino from the Persona fandom.
Canon[]
Persona 3/FES[]
Junpei and Chidori are first seen meeting at Iwatodai Station. Chidori spends her time there drawing and Junpei takes interest in her because of it. At first, Chidori sees him as simply a nuisance, acting harshly towards him. She slowly warms up to him each time they chat at the station, and eventually Junpei ends up telling her about SEES and their operations during the Dark Hour, falsely bragging about being the leader.
Chidori, a member of a rival group of Persona users called Strega, then kidnaps him on the night of their next operation under the impression that he is leading SEES. After SEES completes that night's operation, they return to the dorm to find Junpei tied up on the roof by Chidori. They confiscate her Evoker and she is taken to a hospital run by SEES member Mitsuru Kirijo's family. Junpei visits here there often, and she is only willing to talk to Junpei out of everyone in SEES. Slowly, she begins to open up to Junpei more and more, eventually developing feelings for him. Her feelings for Junpei torment her somewhat, claiming that she now feared death and has only experienced pain since meeting him. She eventually tells Junpei to stop visiting her.

Junpei visits Chidori in the hospital.
However, the player can convince Junpei 4 different times in November to see her regardless. This has a major effect on Chidori's story as well as her relationship with Junpei. On November 22nd, SEES are alerted that Strega have freed Chidori from the hospital and are in Tartarus. After a boss fight with Chidori, fellow Strega member Takaya Sakaki will shoot Junpei, killing him nearly instantly. However, Chidori's Persona has immense healing powers, and she gives her own life in order to revive Junpei. She speaks to him in his mind during this process where the two share a moment, both claiming they want to be with each other. Once Junpei comes back to life and realizes that Chidori will die instead, he is immediately distraught and holds her as she passes. Her last words to him are simply, "I love you". Their Personas then fuse in Trismegistus, which inherits Chidori's healing ability called Spring of Life. This is the same ability she used to revive Junpei.
At a later date, Junpei will receive the late Chidori's sketchbook from the hospital, which is filled entirely with portraits of Junpei. If Junpei visits Chidori enough in the hospital, she will later be revived on January 21st. This is stated to be because every time Junpei would come to visit her, she would revive the flowers next to her bed. After they'd performed an autopsy on Chidori, they placed all of the flowers she'd revived on her corpse as a tribute. The healing powers she had imbued in said flowers then brought her back to life. Unfortunately, she awakens with no memory. Junpei claims that he's simply happy that she's alive, and doesn't care if she remembers him or not. Speaking to him later in the dorm, Junpei states that this is the happiest day of his life.
Persona 3 Portable[]
Junpei is the only male party member that the female protagonist cannot romance, due to his relationship with Chidori.
In the ending epilogue, speaking to Junpei elicits an invitation to eat ramen, and then a conversation about how most of the teachers for the following year at Gekkoukan High School are women. He states that their classmate, Kenji Tomochika, is excited about this, but Junpei himself couldn't care less since he has a girl in his life already. He immediately becomes confused, since all of their memories of the Dark Hour had been erased at that point- including Junpei's memories of Chidori. He promptly cancels his previous ramen invitation.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax[]
Chidori is revealed to be canonically alive in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Junpei dons a necklace with a cross charm on it, which the developers stated is a gift from Chidori.[1] Junpei also has a daydream about proposing to Chidori, further proving that she is alive and their relationship is thriving.
Fanon[]
Jundori is a widely popular ship among Persona 3 fans, due in no small part to its canonicity. Fans also love Jundori due to its tragic story yet happy ending. There is a large amount of fan art for the pair, a lot of which depicts the two living happy, normal lives.
