Kagerochi is the femslash ship between Kagero and Orochi from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright[]
Kagero and Orochi are both from noble families who serve Hoshidan royalty, with Kagero coming from a line of ninjas and Orochi from a line of diviners. They have both worked as queen Mikoto's personal retainers, though Kagero was later asked by Mikoto to become one of Ryoma's retainers. The pair have been best friends since childhood, having met when Orochi was gathering herbs near Kagero's home and accidentally dropped her basket into a river. While they both ended up falling into the river trying to retrieve the basket, they remained close friends since.
In their support coversation Kagero finds Orochi frantically searching her room for a fortune-telling card she has lost. Orochi tells Kagero that it is especially important to her as it was a card Kagero drew for her. Wanting to help, Kagero offers to draw a new card, though Orochi is somewhat annoyed that Kagero doesn't seem to remember the importance of the original. When Kagero's new card fails to be an exact replica of the old one, Orochi reveals that the card itself depicted a scene from when they first met as children, and she feels that Kagero has forgotten that moment. Kagero notes that while she had forgotten what the card looked like, she could never forget their meeting. Orochi apologizes, which Kagero easily accepts. She asks Orochi if she'd like to take a walk with her to a nearby river so she can finish painting her a new card, as it reminded her of the one they met at.
Once the new card is drawn, Orochi is thrilled. Kagero calls Orochi strange for being the only person that likes her dark drawing style but Orochi is unbothered by it. Kagero goes on to tell Orochi that she simply doesn't have in her to smile like Orochi but she intends to carry Orochi's smile with her in life and to her grave. This flusters Orochi but she makes Kagero pinky swear that they will stay together to the bitter end to which Kagero agrees, "To the end of time."
Fire Emblem Heroes[]
Kagero and Orochi have both appeared in Fire Emblem Heroes and also share a duo unit. "Kagero: Bond Unwavering" has the pair attending a festival within the Wind Tribe. Their conversation references their support in Fates, with Kagero once again telling Orochi that she has been carrying Orochi's smile with her, which continues to fluster Orochi. Kagero ruminates on how nice it will be to grow old with Orochi to which she agrees.

Fanon[]
Kagero/Orochi is a fairly small ship within the Fire Emblem fandom, though well liked within femslash circles. Fans enjoy their background of being best friends since childhood and the ways in which Orochi is accepting of Kagero's gloomier side. The fact that Kagero makes several admiring declarations toward Orochi and that the two swear to always stay together had lead to some fans considering the pairing to be canon, or at least semi-canon.
