KaiDaki is the het ship between Kaigaku and Daki/Ume from the Demon Slayer fandom.
Canon[]
Kaigaku and Daki have never actually met in the series. This is due to the fact that Daki died before he became a demon, since he is Daki and Gyutaro's replacement. This makes them both upper rank 6, which is something they have in common.
Something else they have in common is living in poor conditions when they were human. Ume and her brother, Gyutaro were born in the lowest caste of the entertainment district. He had to eat bugs and rats. But when Ume was born, something changed. Gyutaro worked as a debt collector and taught Ume to steal and collect, too. As for Kaigaku, he didn't have a home, and would also steal. He would get rebulked for stealing money and had to drink dirty water.
The two were also both brought to Muzan by uppermoons, Kokushibo and Doma. Kaigaku became a demon for power but for Ume, she did not choose to become a demon. Doma came to Ume and her brother when she was on the brink of death. He told Gyutaro that he'll give both of them his blood so they can become demons.
Fanon[]
KaiDaki is a decently popular pairing in the fandom, but it can also be seen as a rarepair. This is despite the fact that the two never met each other in the series. Some fans think that if they met in a different world like a Swap AU, they could've bonded. Other fans like to think of how the two would have interacted in the canon timeline if they had the chance to, but they would most likely wouldn't pay too much attention to eachother. Daki and Kaigaku both don't have many ships, so people tend to like this one.
This ship is sometimes paired with KokuNaki, since Daki and Nakime are the only female uppermoons.
