KaiSai is the slash ship between Saiki Kusuo and Kaidou Shun from the The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. fandom.
Canon[]
Upon Kaido's first appearance, he had started thinking about the 'Dark Reunion'; an enemy organization he made up. Saiki, next to him, told the readers to pay no attention to him as he was suffering from chuunibyou. Arriving at school, and the students talk about a snake that escaped from the zoo. Kaido steps in, and says that he will defeat it, and as the students leave, Kaido comes back to back with Saiki, announcing that they're the only ones with these powers. Saiki tells him he's not interested. After other students claim that the snake has died, they start making fun of Kaido, which makes him cry. Saiki claims that he is, with no hesitation, weeping in the bathroom.
When he feels a snake actually coming, Saiki goes with Kaido to the bathroom and finds him through the stall using x-ray. Kaido goes to the classroom and stands up to the snake, Saiki is left shocked. The snake then goes for one of the students, although Kaido gets between the two, and Saiki saves him, by electrocuting it. Everybody cheers for Kaido, and Saiki leaves, calling him a moron.
Later on, Kaidou started following Saiki, believing they are already friends. Saiki claims they aren't friends, though he keeps him under his watch anytime he's in danger.
When Kaidou was dating Chiyo, Saiki stayed close by them to check that nothing goes wrong, since he noticed Nendo ate the cookie Chiyo prepared for Kaidou. At the end, when Kaidou realized Chiyo made her a cookie, but he never got the chance to eat it, Saiki somehow felt guilty, and he felt worse when Yumehara told Kaidou they are better as friends. Saiki didn't tried to unite them again, but admitted it was a good move since he says love sometimes is hard, and he didn't want to be protecting them anymore.
When the kids finally realized something is wrong with Saiki, Kaidou wanted to know what was happening to him. Saiki didn't want to tell him, but you could see he was sad somehow. Finally when the others calm down Kaidou to stop asking Saiki's secret, Kaidou accepted and told him he would wait for the time he wanted to say it, like the others said. Told them they are really some pain in the neck, smiling and finally accepting they are really his friends.

KaiSai is moderately popular, but ships like SaiTeru and KuboKai are more popular in the Saiki K. fandom. That being said, KaiSai still has a good number of fans. Many people ship this because of their funny dynamic, and their friendship. Some people ship it romantically, while other prefer to leave as a friendship, since later Saiki admitted he and the other are really close friends to him, and he would regret if something bad happens to them. The ship sailed since Kaidou went to the bathroom and Saiki followed him, and how Saiki answered to himself everything Kaidou was saying in his mind.
In the manga was quite different, since he saw Saiki teletransportating, but didn't recognize it was Saiki himself and had the idea it was a sort of alien. Everyone took Kaidou as a crazy guy, but Saiki did know about it and helped him that everyone believed him he actually saw it, without revealing it was Saiki itself.
