Kaisagi is the slash ship between Yoichi Isagi and Michael Kaiser from the Blue Lock fandom.
Canon[]
Isagi and Kaiser are both strikers from the manga Blue Lock. Isagi Yoichi is an original member of the Blue Lock project, whereas Michael Kaiser is a member of the German U20 and a player of the Bastard München team.
When Isagi first meets Kaiser, Kaiser blocks Isagi’s goal with his own. Isagi is confused as to who Kaiser is, due to not understanding his introduction which he says in German. When Isagi turns to speak to his teammates after the Bastard Munchen member’s introductions, Kaiser grabs his chin to make Isagi face him, telling him “I came here to meet you. Blue Lock’s ace striker, Isagi Yoichi.” Isagi pushes him off, but Kaiser grabs his wrists, telling Isagi he needs to be a proper obstacle in Kaiser’s life. Isagi gives in, telling Kaiser “As you wish, I’m going to destroy your life.” Isagi internally vows to bring Kaiser down from the top. (CH157)
Despite Isagi’s newfound distaste for Kaiser, he admires him in his playstyle. When Isagi first watches Bastard München play against F.C BARCHA, he gets drawn to Kaiser’s playstyle. He sees himself in Kaiser’s movements, internally realizing Kaiser is an ideal he wants to reach. Throughout the match, Isagi analyzes Kaiser’s movements and internally comments “Perfect… he… is a genius..!” and “He’s embodying exactly… My ideal movements..!!”. (CH159-163)
When Isagi is subbed in during the F.C BARCHA match, he tries to come between Lavinho and Noa, yet is quickly shut down due to their destructive power which Isagi cannot devour. Kaiser approaches him, calling him a clown, telling Isagi that he is at a level where he cannot dream to come between strikers as powerful as the world's best. Through his insults, he gives Isagi the genuine advice that if he wishes to devour the world's best, he must first come to their level.
Throughout the match, Isagi uses his previous deduction of him and Kaiser having ideal movements to steal the passes which Ness sends to Kaiser. At the last goal of the match, Kaiser believes Isagi is going to assist him, commenting “Hah.. What a good boy, Yoichi. Bow to me.” However, Isagi passes the ball to Kunigami, who scores the final goal.
After the match, Kaiser approaches Isagi, saying he underestimated him. His statement seems to be disingenuous, as he ‘recasts’ Isagi as ‘Bandit A, who’s under him (Bachira)’. Isagi responds to this by saying, “... Fine, then I’ve got a role for you Kaiser. How about the naked king… who had everything stolen from him? You like that?” Kaiser replies with “Aw man. You’re making my blush.” (CH164-168)
During the Manshine city match, Isagi aims to take the ball from Kaiser from the very beginning.
After the first goal from Manshine City, Kaiser taunts Isagi by saying “Do you have a plan Yoichi? Or are you already stuck, Blue Lock’s ace?” Isagi refutes by saying Kaiser was the one messing him up earlier, to which Kaiser responds by passing the ball to Isagi, telling him to do whatever he likes. Isagi teams up with Kurona to lead them to the goal, but as he’s about to score, Kaiser steals the ball back from him, asking him “Is that all you got, Yoichi?”
After analyzing Kaiser’s goal in the Manshine City match, Isagi realizes how he can beat Kaiser. Kaiser comments teasingly “What’s up Yoichi, was it fun to stalk me? Or perhaps you understand my plays now… and have become so filled with despair that I’ve left you speechless?” to which Isagi replies “No.. Thank you Kaiser. I see hope in crushing you now.” Which Kaiser is momentarily taken aback by.
After Kunigami steals Isagi’s goal, Kaiser mocks Isagi by telling him he loves to ‘dish out assists’. Isagi angrily says “I’ll fucking kill you even if it’s the last thing I do”, which Kaiser replies in amusement, “Oh wow. Is that a new way of saying I love you?”
For the remaining duration of the match, Isagi and Kaiser continue to read each other's movements and come to the same conclusions for scoring a goal. The two fight amongst eachother for the ball, Kaiser dropping his amusement and telling Isagi to ‘Fuck off’.
At the end of the match, Isagi faints from exhaustion and Kaiser catches him by his hair. He comments that he’s some shitty egoist who can’t manage his energy. Despite his insults, he doesn’t let Isagi go, or let him fall and get injured in his unconscious state. (CH 169-202)

When first introduced, the first interaction and a starting rivalry was the dip in their popularity, only growing more as the Neo Egoist League went on and their rivalry became even more heated. This ship is typically seen as a "Rivals to Lovers" or "Enemies to Lovers" trope, and usually the "Flirty x Annoyed" Ship dynamic. People tend to enjoy Kaiser subtly 'flirting' with Isagi, which is the core of their ship. In recent chapters, we see Kaiser and Isagi working together in order to stop Barou, showing that have the potential to be a good team/partnership despite their mutual dislike for each other.
Kaisagi is the 2nd most popular ship in the Blue Lock tag on AO3, being Isagi and Kaiser's most popular ship. This ship is often rivaled by Bachisagi, Kainess, and Rinsagi. In the Eastern fandom, Kaisagi is also Isagi's most popular pairing and the 2nd most popular ship overall after NagiReo.
