KamoMaki is the het ship between Noritoshi Kamo and Maki Zenin from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
Canon[]
Maki and Noritoshi were both part of one of the Three Great Sorcerer Families: Maki was part of the Zenin clan and Noritoshi was part of the Kamo clan. The Three Great Sorcerer Families are very proud to be distinguished from other sorcerers. The Zenin believe that if you're not a Zenin, you're not worthy as a Jujutsu Sorcerer and if you're not a Jujutsu Sorcerer, you're not worthy as a human being. The Kamo clan is known for being part of the conservative faction. Both Maki and Noritoshi want to become head of their respective clans to make them more accepting to their families. Maki wants to create a place were her sister, Mai Zenin, can belong and Noritoshi wants his mother to be accepted by the clan. As Maki and Noritoshi both come from one of the Three Great Sorcerer Families, they at least knew of each other before entering Jujutsu High.
Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc[]
Maki and Noritoshi both participate in the Goodwill Event but are on opposite sides.
Culling Game Arc[]
Maki and Noritoshi team up and enter the Sakurajima colony together. They tell each other that they have changed. Noritoshi compares their change in status and tells Maki that she has become better while he has been devaluated, as he is no longer the clan heir. Maki tells him that he looks better than before, especially with his new haircut. Noritoshi replies by saying he likes her new haircut better too.
Naoya Zenin attacks them and they team up to fight him. When Maki is hurt, Noritoshi protects her while she recovers. He says that they can't afford to lose her but he also trusts her assesment of the situation and her opinion on his abilities. While Noritoshi is fighting Naoya, he thinks to himself that he will set his own life ablaze so that his companions lives will burn brightly on his ashes. When Maki comes back from her break, Noritoshi wonders what happened to her as she has become a different person.
After Maki kills Naoya she tells Noritoshi she didn't expect him to do something like that. He tells her that, as she belongs to one of the three clans, she can understand the position he's in. He tells her that his mother must be ashamed of him, to which Maki responds that it is something that he should ask her directly. She says she asked her mother the same question before killing her. She then tells Noritoshi not to do the same mistake she did.
Shinjuku Showdown Arc[]
Noritoshi listened to Maki's advice and reconciliated with his family. He chose to flee overseas with them instead of participating in the fight against Ryomen Sukuna in Shinjuku.
Fanon[]
KamoMaki is a rarepair, within the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom. Shippers enjoy the ship because they share similar circumstances and objectives and thus are able to understand each other.
