KanNaoRise is the poly ship between Kanji Tatsumi, Rise Kujikawa, and Naoto Shirogane from the Persona fandom.
Canon[]
Kanji, Rise, and Naoto are all students at Yasogami High School. They are in their first year, a grade below the rest of the Investigation Team. While Kanji has lived in Inaba his whole life, both Rise and Naoto are recent transfer students. While Kanji meets Naoto first, Rise is the first one to join the Investigation Team alongside Kanji. He uses his persona to help save Rise from her shadow self, and later the two of them use their personas to help save Naoto.
Kanji, Rise, and Naoto seem to be particularly close, as they are members of the same class in school. Kanji and Rise both enjoy "cute" things, while Naoto and Rise almost seem to be complete opposites who still get along increasingly well. Kanji has a rather obvious crush on Naoto, which everyone but Naoto herself seems to notice. Rise appears to enjoy teasing Kanji about his crush on Naoto.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night[]
When the Investigation Team first enters the Midnight Stage, they decide to split up in an attempt to work faster. Kanji, Naoto, and Rise choose to pair up together with Teddie. They want to prove to the older members of the Investigation Team that they can hold their own in battle. As they progress forward, they decide they need to choose a leader for their group. Teddie and Kanji argue over which of the two of them it should be, but Naoto ends up suggesting Rise for her natural leadership abilities. Kanji quickly agrees, and Rise is named the leader.
As the only member with dance experience, Rise has been training all of her friends in preparation for the festival. She is seen commenting on both Kanji and Naoto's dances, and seems to be impressed with how far they have come. She even thinks that Kanji might upstage her with his passionate moves.

KanNaoRise is one of the most popular poly ships from Persona 4. With KanNao and Naorise being Naoto's two most popular ships, many fans choose to ship KanNaoRise as a way to reconcile this. Sometimes fans choose to write Kanji and Rise are merely being metamours to one another in the polyship, especially when depicting Naoto as a trans man and Kanji as gay. However, there are fans of the ship who like to view all three in a triad.
