Karapril is the femslash ship between Karai and April O'Neil from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fandom.

Season 1[]
KARAI'S VENDETTA
Karai and Shredder interrogate a Krang who tells them that they're hunting the turtles because they protect April. Shredder tells Karai to go and find April so that they can use her to lead out the turtles.
April is headed to Mr. Murakami's restraunt, unaware that Karai is watching her. Once she arrives there's a machine outside the door that she doesn't understand. Karai then comes up and explains that it's how she's supposed to order. April thanks her and places her order. Karai asks if she can join her, and April says sure. Inside April gives Murakami her order and thanks him in Japanese. Karai remarks on this, and April passes it off as her picking it up from her...brothers. Karai says she's never heard of April's order, pizza gyoza, back in Tokyo and April says that Murakami invented it. She suggests Karai try some and Karai agrees, suggesting April do the same for her dish. Karai asks April for her name, and April introduces herself. Karai does the same but with the alias of Harmony.
April asks what Karai's doing in New York and she says she's here with her dad on a business trip. Their food arrives, and Karai thanks Murakami in Japanese, April copying her. Karai tries the gyoza and says their great, then suggests April tries hers. April asks what it is and Karai says it's turtle soup. April then realizes who Karai actually is and starts to back away. Karai grabs her bag and pulls her back, "suggesting" that April comes with her to meet her father. Murakami then steps in and is able to help April get away, but Karai starts to run after her again.
April hops on a bike and starts to speed away, but Karai has one of her own and follows easily. She eventually gets away long enough for Karai to be forced to follow on foot, but they end up meeting face to face. They start to fight, but Karai dodges every attack. April gets one hit in, and Karai calls it a good one, and April comments that she's glad she enjoyed it. Karai then starts her own attack and easily takes out April. Karai asks why the Krang think she's so special, but April gets up and just yells she doesn't know. They continue their fight, April basically explaining her whole life, including that she lost her mother. Karai is taken aback by the last one, and April uses it as an opportunity to throw her down the subway stairs. She comments that she's not bad for a nobody, and gets away from Karai.

Karapril is a smaller pairing in the TMNT tag, but isn't really considered a rare pair. Especially among femslash fans. While there are some shippers from the 2003 version, it's not as common due to their limited interactions. Most of the fans come from the 2012 series, where they do interact more and eventually become friends. Although Karai is more often shipped with Shinigami. Some fans would prefer that they'd date each other over any of their canon love interests.
On AO3, Karapril is the eleventh most written ship for April and the fourth most written for Karai. It currently has 27 written works. It is also the second most written femslash ship in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - All Media Types tag. There are currently 60 written works.
