KazuKo is the het ship between Koichi Haimawari and Kazuho Haneyama from the My Hero Academia fandom.
Canon[]
Koichi and Kazuho first meet when Koichi is going to UA for his entrance exam. Kazuho is drowning in the river, and Koichi jumps in to save her. After rescuing her, he gives her his All Might hoodie and leaves. However, this rescue led to Koichi being late to his exam and unable to take it. He believes that he rescued a little boy from the river, and doesn't realize that it was Kazuho upon meeting her again. Kazuho, however, instantly remembers Koichi.
When the series begins, Koichi sees Kazuho's street performance as Pop Step and warns her that the police are coming.
Later on, Soga Kugisaki and his gang assault Kazuho in an alleyway and threaten to reveal her identity online. Koichi is going to walk away, but after seeing Kazuho crying, decides to help. However, his lack of fighting experience leads to him getting beat up as well. Knuckleduster arrives and introduces himself, and knocks out Soga and his gang.
The next day, Kazuho — as Pop Step — meets with Koichi and Knuckleduster. She asks them what they're doing, and agrees to help them track down whoever's distributing the Trigger drug. Knuckleduster then threatens a salaryman, whose hero dolls fall out of his briefcase. Eraserhead then appears and attacks Knuckleduster, freaking out both Kazuho and Koichi, but they eventually stop fighting. The salaryman then runs away; Soga and his gang, who have taken Trigger, show up and attack Koichi. Kazuho recognizes the salaryman as the one distributing Trigger and causing Instant Villain attacks, and chases him into the city.
The salaryman comes to a stop, and takes Trigger with the "dolls," which were actually syringes. He transforms into a four-armed giant, terrorizing the city and taking Kazuho hostage. The giant eventually drops her, but at a great height, leading to Koichi to use his quirk and leap off a building to save her. He falls into a pile of garbage bags; Eraserhead appears once again, disabling the giant's quirk and turning him back into his normal size.
The next day, Knuckleduster and Kazuho "invade" Koichi's apartment and fight over personal space and manners, as if it's their own house.
During a street perfomance as Pop Step, Kazuho is chased by an overzealous fan with an eel quirk. Koichi and Knuckleduster fail to catch him at first, but come up with a plan to lure him into an alleyway and dump flour on him. It works, but Kazuho is covered in flour as well.
Koichi meets Makoto Tsukauchi, a senior at his college, who agrees to help him study at his home. However, Kazuho is in Koichi's apartment, and quickly hides after noticing them outside. Koichi notices the trash left behind by both Kazuho and Knuckleduster, and dumps it behind a curtain, unintentionally hitting Kazuho with it. Kazuho watches Makoto and Koichi study together, and is jealous of Makoto and hypocritically condemns her for "barging into his space."
