KeiiMiwa is the het ship between Keiichiro Akasaka and Miwa Honjo in the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom.

Canon

Miwa first encountered Keiichiro at a tea shop. Miwa had accidentally knocked a box of tea over and spilled some of its contents in front of multiple people, including one of the store's employees. Keiichiro picked up the box and said that this was the type of tea that he wanted to buy and that he would purchase it. Miwa insisted that it was fine and that she could pay for it, but Keiichiro insisted that he wanted to buy it and that he was going to use it as soon as he got home anyway. Miwa then developed a crush on Keiichiro due to his polite and charming demeanor.

The next day, Ichigo was serving Miwa cake at Cafe Mew Mew, and made a comment that she and Moe did not know what it was like to be in love. She and Moe giggled in response and explained that they had both just had encounters with love. Miwa was then shocked to see Keiichiro standing in the corner of the restaurant and revealed that he was the man she had fallen for. Miwa told Ichigo the story of how she met him in the tea shop the next day in school.

Ichigo later brought Miwa and Moe to meet with their new crushes at Cafe Mew Mew. Keiichiro served tea for the both of them and explained that it was the same tea he had bought the other day when they encountered each other in the tea shop. Miwa and Moe stayed in the restaurant until closing time. Miwa learned that Keiichiro had an interest in poetry and decided that she would write him a poem.

When Miwa and Moe arrived the next day to deliver their gifts, Keiichiro and Ryō both replied that they were busy as they were focused on searching for Mew Aqua and left. Ichigo scolded them for being insensitive and Miwa left the poem for him inside of the restaurant. Ichigo tried to comfort Miwa but she told Ichigo that it was okay and that she had already accepted that she had been rejected. However, Miwa and Moe were then attacked by Kish and had their spirits extracted and fused with chimera animals. After Ichigo defeated the chimera animal and freed their spirits, Miwa and Moe were brought back to Cafe Mew Mew to recover.

After Miwa woke up, Keiichiro gave her a poem, revealing that he had read hers. Miwa was surprised that he had made a responding poem and Keiichiro replied that a gentleman always responds to a lady's poem, and that hers was especially passionate and a challenge to match in tone. However, Keiichiro asked Miwa to wait until she was alone to read it as it would be embarrassing for her to read it around others. Miwa later met with Keiichiro outside and decided that she was too young to be with and instead asked if she could be one of Keiichiro's fangirls, to which he replied that he would be honored.

Fanon

KeiiMiwa is not a very popular ship in the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom. This is due to their age difference, which is even larger than that of RyoMoe, and the fact that they only meet in an episode of the original anime. However, many fans do not have anybody else to ship Keiichiro with and most do not have anyone to ship Miwa with either. Fans enjoyed their exchange of poetry and believe that they might be appropriate together when Miwa is old enough. KeiiMiwa most commonly rivals the KeiiRei and KeiiZaku ships.
