Khori is the het ship between Khan Doorman and Nori Doorman from the Murder Drones fandom.
Canon[]
Not much is known about their relationship, but it is revealed that Khan met Nori in Camp 98.7. According to Khan, she was very easy going with her kind and was well-liked amongst many. She became infected by the AbsoluteSolver, and as time progressed, she eventually escaped the Cabin Fever Labs. After the core collapse, she and Khan escape the camp and join the Worker Drone colony. They began a peaceful life with their newborn daughter, Uzi Doorman, until Nori became immensely erratic and delusional unexpectedly, prognosticating the arrival of the Disassembly Drones and the dangers that follow. She warned the others, which led her to being the influence to Khan building the doors. Her prophecies came to life shortly afterwards, the massacre of many drones, including Nori, ensued.
Pilot[]
When Uzi planned to sneak out of the colony to obtain a missing part to her railgun, she is quickly confronted by her father, Khan. She creates a lie, saying that she is “totally sneaking out to make out with the boyfriend she definitely had,” only for her attempt to grow in vain as he increasingly becomes inconspicuous of her. She then states that she wishes to visit the first door’s interior for a school project and immediately changes Khan’s mood as his suspicions shift to excitement. He proceeds to give her the wrench he used to build the first door, which he also states is the same wrench he used to end her mother’s misery after Nori had been injected with nanite acid, presumably from a Disassembly Drone attack.
The Promening[]
When Khan removed Uzi’s conspiracy theories plastered on her walls, he stored it away in a closet labeled ”Nori’s Kooky Insane Stuff” much to Uzi’s disapproval.
Cabin Fever[]
A flashback displays Khan showing Uzi pictures of her mother, explaining that he had never noticed her nor Yeva’s collars, only that she was a catch. He tours her through the closet filled with Nori’s “kooky insane” belongings, such as drawings containing “sky demons” and a “singularity” as well as showing off a cool S she can draw. He informs his daughter on her camping trip, which is the camp where he met his wife.
Absolute End[]
Khan nearly falls to his doom in a gaping pit but is rescued by Nori who slowly lifts him to his safety. He glances at his rescuer, who cowers before him. She suddenly blurts that he doesn't know her and she hates him before scurrying away. Khan is confused by this but admits that it's "kinda hot". Later into the credits, Nori is seen resting atop of Khan's head as he sits in a game of cards, proving their reunion.
Children[]
Uzi Doorman is Khan Doorman and Nori Doorman's only daughter as well as their only child. She shares many of her mother’s physical features, such as her purple hair, neon purple eyes, and similar hairstyle. Nori’s erratic behavior was passed down to her as they both enjoy conjuring their own conspiracy theories and “crazed ramblings”. It is revealed that Nori behaves very similarly to her daughter, examples being irritable demeanor, sarcasm, and enjoying listening to nightcore. However, Nori was described as someone others easily got along with, whilst Uzi is the exact opposite as most of her peers try to avoid her or jump at her mere presence.
It was assumed that most of her personality is deprived from her father, such as their aggressive nature and impulsive actions. According to Khan during the parent-teacher conference, he reassured that Uzi was on her “kill all humans kick” like how he had experienced when he was younger.
Fanon[]
Khori doesn’t receive much attention from the fandom due to Nori’s absence within the entire series, but as the audience began to learn more about her character and her relationship with Khan, its popularity began to increase, gaining over 200 fanfics on AO3 and ultimately becoming one of the top ten ships within the fandom. There is fanart depicting the Doorman Family if Nori’s status were to be active before the events of Dead End.
They are mainly shipped alongside Nuzi due to them being the parents of Uzi Doorman.
