- Downplayed. Kiana and Mei have always been portrayed as close friends with deep mutual care. It's just that in Chapter 17 the two got into quite a physical fight. At the end of the day, they hurt each other for each other, and Mei still expresses her determination to save Kiana, reminding the players just how endearing their relationship is.
