Miu and K1-B0 have a troubling relationship with Kokichi but have a strong relationship themselves. Miu is quite disliked in the group, and K1-B0 appears to be the only student, aside from Kaede and Gonta, who actually likes her and wants to be friends with her. Miu first considered K1-B0 pathetic for being weak, offering to give him an upgrade later. Because he is a robot, Miu took a special interest in K1-B0 and even feels attracted to him, though it's pretty unclear if he is aware of this or not. Since K1-B0 was unable to take care of his body, Miu was excited and offered him help.
Miu feels annoyed by Kokichi and believes that he is the one pulling the strings. She often insults him by calling him a shota and a compulsive liar. Kokichi is shown to be very rude and nasty towards Miu, and often calls her offensive terms like a whore and a bitch, and says that she's ugly and useless. He also often calls her a pervert due to her sexual nature. Kokichi seems to treat Miu much harsher than anyone else as he quite often appears more firm while insulting her, though Miu often just enjoys the insults.
Kokichi does not really appear to have any malicious intent, as he seems genuinely interested in K1-B0. His behavior seems more like ignorance, as he seemingly considers robots very interesting and "cool", but he thinks they aren't real people and thus he does not treat K1-B0 like a person. Kokichi is seen being very excited about K1-B0, wanting to be friends with him and childishly chasing him in an attempt to touch him, seemingly not realizing that his behavior is offensive. He also curiously asks about how the robot functions, like asking about his private parts, and seems upset if the answer is duller than he expected.
In Chapter 2, Kokichi sees Miu in the dark, strolling around in her underwear in the courtyard as a way to escape Gonta. During the investigation, Kokichi tells the others about what had happened and how strange it was, with him appearing disappointed. He then mocks her during the trial for being perverted.
In Chapter 3, when Miu praises a computer, K1-B0 seemingly gets silently jealous. K1-B0 is shown to be more kind and sympathetic towards Miu than most of the other students, though Miu is periodically rude towards him, and K1-B0 doesn't seem to always have trust in her intentions at times, which is very understandable.
In Chapter 4, Miu asked everyone to enter the virtual world and commanded them to bow to her. Kokichi insisted that she should be the one bowing since she is asking something from them. Unlike many earlier situations, Miu seems very uncomfortable with Kokichi’s comment and appears to be very upset after obeying Kokichi's command. In the virtual world, Miu had attempted to murder Kokichi and placed poison on his chair to make it look like he had gotten poisoned. However, Kokichi had lured Gonta into killing Miu by strangling her with a roll of toilet paper. Later when Gonta was found guilty, Kokichi told Monokuma to execute him as well which implied that he felt guilty, but he appeared to feel bad for Gonta more than Miu.
K1-B0 was shocked when he discovered Miu's corpse in and he was the only one to still speak of her even after the chapter. After her death, he says that he wishes he could cry, but Miu wasn’t there to give him a crying function. During the trial, he states that he believes Miu was a good person based on the time they spent together, despite some of her traits. Later, in Chapter 5, he talks to Shuichi about how genuine Miu was with technology, and that she had natural innocence she hid deep inside her, indicating that she showed her true self more openly in his company.
In Chapter 5, it's revealed that Kokichi had talked with Miu before the fourth murder happened and asked her to make multiple inventions to fight against Monokuma. While Miu agreed to create them, she explained that she wouldn't cooperate with the others because she believed there would surely be a betrayal. Kokichi listened to her words seriously and later appeared to feel bad for her when he has told the others about the conversation. Despite her murder attempt, Miu claimed to have no particular hate against Kokichi, apologizing to him and appearing uncomfortable and shameful with the idea of killing him. However, Kokichi told Gonta that regardless of what she said she still truly attempted to murder him.
Ultimate Talent Development Plan
In the bonus mode Ultimate Talent Development Plan, the two appear to still be close, and Miu takes care of K1-B0's maintenance for their high school years. K1-B0 tells her how grateful he is to have her and that he will miss being able to ask her in the future. Miu is offended by this, asking K1-B0 why he's going to throw her away and assumes that he has someone other than her. K1-B0 explains they're graduating soon, but Miu is still angry with him. He then tells her that it would be good to have someone like her who can take care of him. Miu answers that he can come to her place, with K1-B0 thanking Miu.
During the Ultimate Talent Development Plan, after spending three years as Kokichi's classmate, K1-B0 admits that he considers Kokichi his friend, though he doesn’t enjoy his constant robophobic remarks. Kokichi seemed surprised but quickly continued in his usual manner, though he also pointed out that K1-B0 is very wise for a robot.
The ship sailed as a result of Kokichi constantly teasing the two. The three are very compatible, with Miu being the Ultimate Inventor, Kokichi being the Ultimate Supreme Leader, and K1-B0 being the Ultimate Robot also helped. So did K1-B0 being one of a few students who actually liked Miu, and Kokichi disliking Miu the most. Many believed that if Kokichi and Miu met differently, they'd actually get along.
