Canon[]
Season 1[]
EMISSARY, PT. 1-2
Sisko and Jadzia are stuck inside the wormhole after accidentally entering it in a shuttle. A mysterious energy cluster within the wormhole is able to absorb Jadzia's energy and push her energy cluster out of the wormhole to be beamed back to the station by Kira and O'Brien. After she returns, she explains the nature of the wormhole to Kira and Julian and Kira suggests that O'Brien move the entire station to the mouth of the wormhole. O'Brien claims that would be impossible, but Jadzia recommends a forcefield to make the station lighter and contacting Starfleet for further assistance. Kira gives O'Brien control of Ops while she asks Jadzia and Julian to accompany her to a shuttle to stage a rescue mission for Sisko.
In the rescue shuttle, Kira and Jadzia head the ship's controls. The shuttle meets up with the station nearer to the wormhole and everyone reboards the station. Jadzia tells Kira that the Cardassians are hailing them and she tells her to put the message on-screen. The two explain the strange readings of the wormhole to a Gul that does not believe them.
As Kira is about to agree to full surrender to the onslaught of Cardassian warships attacking the station, Jadzia tells her that a power surge shows that the wormhole has opened again, with Sisko and the shuttle pulling a Cardassian warship in its tractor beam out. The two stand together to speak to Sisko from the shuttle.
A MAN ALONE
When a known criminal on the station is mysteriously killed in his holosuite, Odo and Kira investigate. Jadzia and Julian confirm to Kira that he could not have been murdered by any humanoid because there was no new DNA in the suite. Odo concludes that such a fact would only be possible if it was a shapeshifter that killed the man, making Odo the new prime suspect. Word of the case spreads fast on the station and a small group of civilians speak to Sisko, Dax, and Kira about taking Odo off of the case if he is the main suspect. Kira tries to defend Odo and keep him on the case, but Sisko and Jadzia agree that he should be taken off as lead investigator until he can be proven innocent.
BABEL
While walking on the promenade, Jadzia remarks that she forgot how different it was. Kira asks what she means by that, and Jadzia clarifies that she means being female. She hasn't been one for over 80 years and there's a lot of attention. Kira assumes that it takes some getting used to, but Jadzia actually finds it quite enjoyable. They get stopped by Quark who invites them into the bar. Jadzia asks if Kira's up for it, but Kira says she needs to get back to Ops and tells Jadzia to enjoy herself as she walks away.
THE PASSENGER
Jadzia and Kira talk with Sisko and Julian in Ops about a case of a potential hijacking of a ship after Julian finds a man dead that is known for previously committing war crimes and faking his death on his own planet.
PROGRESS
While in the runabout, Jadzia tells Kira that Morn asked her out. Kira is surprised and asks what she said. Jadzia said she was busy, which Kira thinks is good. Jadzia does admit that she found him kinda cute, much to Kira's confusion. They then get a read on a humanoid in an area that should be clear. Kira decides to beam down, and won't be long. Jadzia then beams her down.
DRAMATIS PERSONAE
While Jadzia is getting a drink from Quark, Kira comes up and asks how Jadzia is. Jadzia just gives her a weird saying, much to Kira's confusion. She clarifies that she was asking if Jadzia was happy. Jadzia admits that no one really asks her that often, and Kira thinks that it should be. In Kira's opinion, Jadzia is the most valuable officer on the station. She asks if she can have a sip of her drink and Jadzia allows it. Kira takes a sip and says that it's not bad, for Quark. Jadzia agrees and Kira goes to fill it up a bit more. She says she couldn't imagine running the station without her there, and Jadzia asks if she's trying to tell her something. Kira says that her disagreement with Sisko is no secret, but it's hard to move him on a decision. Jadzia starts to tell a story about her and Sisko, but Kira points out that she told her it that morning. Kira asks if Jadzia could talk to Starfleet about their displeasment with Sisko's handling of things, since they'll listen to her. Jadzia starts to tell another story, but Kira interupts her and tells her that they need to keep the Valerian's at the station, it's for the good of everyone. Jadzia starts to say that Sisko is like a son to her, but Kira says that she's getting rid of Sisko. She doesn't want to get rid of Jadzia along with him.
DUET
As Kira looks out the station window, Jadzia comes up and asks what she's looking for. Kira says answers and Jadzia asks if she found any. Kira says that Maritza believes that she doesn't care about the truth and that all she wants is vengeance. Jadzia asks if she believes he's right, but all Kira wants is to see him punished. Jadzia asks if that includes if he's just a file clerk, but Kira doesn't want him to be just that. She wants him to be worse. Jadzia says that Kira wants him to be guilty, but Kira thinks that anyone at Gallitep is guilty. Punishment would allow Bajor to feel some satisfaction. Jadzia thinks Kira's trying to hard to believe what she's saying, already knows that punishing without reason won't work and that vengeance isn't enough. She then leaves as Kira watches.
Season 2[]
THE CIRCLE
As Kira is packing, there's a knock on her door and Jadizia comes in. She asks if she's disturbing her and Odo, but Kira says that she can stick around to help her cry into her synthale. Jadzia just thought she should return the lotion Kira lent her, but Kira insists that she keep it. Jadzia asks where she'll be stationed, but Kira doesn't know yet but will earn a desk of foreign affairs building after a vacation. Jadzia believes it sounds dull, but Kira think that doesn't begin to describe it. Jadzia then asks if she was given an alternative, but she wasn't. As more people come in, Odo insists that Kira should fight to stay, but Jadzia says that it's up to Kira. She then asks if Kira wants her to talk to Sisko, but Kira knew the risks when she went on her mission.
THE SEIGE
On Bajor, Kira takes Jadzia to the cave where ships are stored. It's completely a mess and covered in cobwebs. Jadzia says that Trills are extremely allergic to insect bites, but is suddenly surprised by a large insect-like animal. Kira says that the moons are filled with them, and Jadzia assumes they were pets. Kira corrects her and says they ate them, much to Jadzia's disgust, and finds the ship they need. Jadzia sees how run down it is and asks if it will fly. Kira's done so in worse, and starts to climb in. Kira starts the engine's but worries if they will work. Jadzia assures her that she's go it and starts working on the ship. Kira double checks and Jadzia says that she will, since she in no way wants to get stuck here.
Jadzia gets the ship running and tells Kira not to turn if off. Jadzia gets a bit stuck, and Kira asks if there's a problem. Jadzia sarcastically says everything's wonderful, and Kira gets some memories from the sound of the engine. Jadzia asks how they ever won a war with the ships, and Kira says that the Cardassians were basically allergic to them. Kira then starts to get ready for takeoff.
Once in orbit, Jadzia tells Kira that the navigation systems have broken. Kira says that's not a problem, but Jadzia thinks it is. Kira says they'll just have to wing it, much to Kira's dismay. Kira says that Starfleet officers are too dependent on tech and gizmo's, instead of the survival instincts. Jadzia's instincts told her not to get in the ship, so she thinks they're doing okay. Kira thinks she'll be able to recognize the landing site, when they're suddenly hit. Kira gets ready to fire as Jadzia gets a reading on the other ship. They see it's some of Jaro's and Jadzia says they won't be able to outrun them. Kira agrees and decides to even the match. Jadzia asks how she plans to do that, and Kira says that she's going to take them into the atmosphere. They'll have to fight on their terms.
Once lower, Kira sees the playing field as even, but Jadzia doesn't think of 2 on 1 as even. Kira does see a problem, as the guys in the other ships, used to fly the ship they're in. Jadzia test the phasers but the locks are dead and they won't be able to aim. Kira says there is, and tells her to use her eyes. Jadzia says that Kira will fly while she shoots and are able to take out one of the ships. They look around for the other one when it shoots at their engine and starts a fire. Jadzia asks for the fire gear, and Kira tells her to check under the seat. She finds an extinguisher, but it doesn't last long, and tells Kira to jettison the plasma tank. She asks for a place to land and Jadzia finds a spot 2 kilometers away. Kira asks for a place closer and the two prepare for impact.
After the crash, Jadzia sees some coming for the raider and they can't stay. Kira says that due to injury, she'll just slow her down. She needs to get the information to the government, that's all the matters. Jadzia says it will be more convincing coming from Kira, but Kira believes it speaks for itself and hands Jadzia the evidence. She tells her to leave her, and makes it an order, but Jadzia says that since the Federation left yesterday Kira is no longer her superior. She attempts to help Kira up, but Kira says that she can't walk. Jadzia insists that she can. Kira thinks she's being a fool, but Jadzia just tells her not to talk back to her elders as she drags Kira up. They hear voices and quickly hide, when Kira suddenly passes out.
After Kira gets up, Jadzia finds her and tells her to put on a Vedek's uniform. Kira is confused and Jadzia says it's the only way they can get to the ministers. After they're done getting ready, Jadzia asks what Kira thinks of her bajoran nose. Kira finds it flattering and Jadzia jokes that she might keep it.
RULES OF ACQUISITION
While in ops, Kira receives an earring from Zek, which she's annoyed by. Jadzia says that her not receiving the present isn't gonna stop him from trying. Kira says that Jadzia seems to admire him for it, and Jadzia assumes that in a certain way she does. Kira doesn't understand Jadzia's attitude about Ferengi, but Jadzia says it's because they socialize with them in different ways. Over her seven lifetimes, there's not a race she's enjoyed more. Kira asks if anyone ever told Jadzia that she has strange taste. Jadzia's willing to admit their faults, but Kira doesn't trust a single one of them. Jadzia doesn't either, but once you accept all the flaws, they can be fun.
ARMAGEDDON GAME
While at Quark's, Jadzia tells Kira that she still has some of Bashir's medical journals. He had given them to her to help her understand him better. Kira jokes that it was about all the women he went out with, but Jadzia says that's not what they were about. They were about his thoughts, and his struggles as he went through school. Kira asks if she understood him better, but Jadzia admits that she never got around to reading them. She should send them to his parents, but Kira suggest that she keep them. He'd probably like it, and cared a great deal about Jadzia. Jadzia knows, and cared about him as well. Quark then stops by, and they share a toast to O'Brian and Bashir.
PARADISE
Kira asks Jadzia if she knows an admiral Mitsuya, and Jadzia says that he's the best poker player in the fleet besides her. Kira tells her that he's coming to DS9 to talk about Cardassian foreign policy, but Jadzia says that it's just an excuse to get Sisko in a game of poker. She decides they need to hail Sisko's runabout to bring them back, but Kira can't get a response.
Jadzia gets details from Starfleet that they found the ship traveling at warp. Kira asks how that is with no one on board, and Jadzia says they want someone to pick it up. Kira says that they're going and Jadzia joins her on the turbolift to leave.
Kira and Jadzia find the runabout, and Kira says that she'll beam over. Jadzia says no, but Kira reminds her that she's the ranking officer. Jadzia says that it's not a good idea at warp, but Kira doesn't think they have better idea. Jadzia says that as the science officer, her job is too have better ideas and starts punching things into the computer. Kira asks what she's doing and Jadzia says that she's doing a rope trick. Kira can't believe she's suggesting it, and Jadzia just continues. Kira says they might end up ripping both hulls apart, but Jadzia thinks they'll probably make it. It could go bad, but it's their best shot. She asks if Kira has a better idea, but Kira decides to go with it. They're able to grab the ship, and transport over.
They find that nothing was taken, but that all the logs were erased. Kira suggests that they had beamed off before it was boarded, but questions why whoever it was wouldn't just destroy the ship. Jadzia thinks they were trying to destroy it, and is able to trace back the ships course. It was headed towards a star, and Jadzia realizes that's how it was meant to be destroyed. The two then trace back the ships trajectory, to try and find Sisko and O'Brien.
BLOOD OATH
While running diagnostics in ops, Jadzia asks Kira how many people she killed while she was in the underground. Kira is taken aback at first, but answers that it was too many. Jadzia asks if they were all faceless Cardassians or if she knew who they were. Kira asks why they're talking about this, and Jadzia says that they can stop if it bothers her. It bothers Kira, and Jadzia says she's sorry before walking away. Kira asks her why, and if she was thinking of killing someone. Jadzia plays if off, but Kira sees the look on her face and pulls her aside. She tells Jadzia to tell her, but Jadzia plays it off again. Kira holds her still and asks that she tell her. Jadzia tells her about the albino Klingon that killed her Godson, and Kira says that she's sorry, but reminds her that it was Curzon's godson. Jadzia says that she took a blood oath, but Kira insist that it was Curzon who did that. Jadzia says that she still remembers everything, and that the kid was named after her. Kira asks if they found the albino, and Jadzia confirms so. Kira reminds her that Jadzia was the one who said that a new life for a trill, is meant to be a new one, or she'd pay off debts forever. The Klingons can't expect her to keep it, and Jadzia confirms that they don't. But she doesn't see it that way. She still wants to follow through with the oath. If she doesn't owe it to them, then she owe's it to Curzon. Kira tells her that when she killed someone, it was like loosing a part of herself as well.
THE MAQUIS
Kira asks if Jadzia wants to meet for dinner tonight, but Jadzia can't make it since she has a date with Captain Boday. Kira is kinda disgusted, and Jadzia asks if there's a problem. Kira brushes it off and says there's not, but Jadzia knows she's lying. She thinks Boday is brilliant and has brain twice the seize of there's. Kira points out that they can see it, but Jadzia says it's not his fault that his species has transparent skulls. Kira knows it's not, but it's not something she wants to see during dinner either. Jadzia thinks that Kira places too much emphasis on how men look, and Kira asks what that means. Jadzia says that it's nothing, but Kira just says she likes to know where she's supposed to be kissing someone. Jadzia thinks more lifetimes has just given her a broader perspective, and Kira says that her one lifetime means she has to be particular of who she goes out with. Jadzia never said she wasn't particular, but Kira says that she's not the one who dates Ferengi's. Jadzia asks what that means, but Kira says that it's nothing. Suddenly, one of the ships docking blows up, and they scramble to call everyone to OP's. Kira says they have to get a rescue team, but Jadzia says that there is nothing left to rescue.
Season 3[]
EQUILIBRIUM
Kira finds Jadzia at the replimat, who asks if she was sent by Sisko to apologize to her. Kira says no, but he was concerned about what a happened. Jadzia knew she would take Sisko's side, but Kira says that she's not taking sides. Jadzia thinks Kira should leave, and when she doesn't go fast enough she starts to leave. Kira grabs Jadzia, but Jadzia says that she better stop before she does something she regrets. Kira lets her go and Jadzia thinks that's the smartest thing she's done and leaves.
SECOND SKIN
Jadzia is sitting alone at the replimat when Quark comes up to her. He assumes she's been stood up for a date, but she says that she's just waiting for Kira. They're supposed to go into a holosuite for anti-grav sailing, but she knows how Kira feels about holosuites. Kira arrives and says that she feels that anything you can do in one is just better in the real world. Quark suggests finding the right one, but Kira tells him to leave as he scampers off. Kira apologizes for being late, and Jadzia double checks that she's not canceling. Kira isn't, and is actually looking forward to it, besides the crashing. Jadzia says they'll start off easy, and they start to leave when Kira gets a call.
DEFIANT
Jadzia enters Ops and asks who's talking with Sisko. Kira says that it's Will Riker from the Enterprise, surprising Jadzia. Kira asks if she knows him, and Jadzia says she meant him at Quark's once. She asks if Kira knows him, and Kira says that she met him last night. Jadzia asks what happened, and Kira says that they just talked. Jadzia expects more, but Kira reminds her that she's with Bareil. Jadzia asks if that's so, then why does she keep looking to Sisko's office.
FASCINATION
Bareil arrives to the station for the Bajoran Gratitude Festival and he and Kira talk about Bajoran political affairs while kissing in her room. She suddenly gets up and says that she has to go to put out renewal scrolls for the festival, and that she'll be done soon because Jadzia is helping her. Bareil says that he doesn't understand how Kira and Jadzia could be such good friends, because he sees Jadzia as unpredictable and Kira as the opposite, which she takes slight offense to. He says that he didn't mean it in a bad way, and that he's just jealous that Jadzia gets to spend more time with Kira than he does. Kira explains that her and Jadzia have set out the renewal scrolls together for the festival for the past two years, making it a tradition that the two share.
PAST TENSE, PT. 1
As the senior staff flies into Earth's orbit in a shuttle on their way to a symposium on the planet, Jadzia comments that she always thinks that Earth's oceans should be more purple, like on Trill. Kira says that she always thinks they should be more green, like on Bajor. Jadzia smiles at her comment. Jadzia asks Kira and Odo to join her, Sisko and Julian for dinner with an Admiral that night, and Kira and Odo both decline.
PAST TENSE, PT. 2
Kira and O'Brien go on a rescue mission to look for Jadzia and the others on Earth after they are sent back in time. They are first sent too far back in the past to the 1920's, then still too far, to the 1960's, before finally giving up and coming back up to the Defiant. On board, they discuss possibilities for time periods the group could be stuck in, before trying one last time, choosing a date at random. They energize and successfully track the distress signal that Jadzia put out with her com badge. Kira asks if Jadzia is there, waking Jadzia from a nap. She responds and Kira tells her that she's glad to hear her voice. Jadzia asks where they are and tells them that she'll be right there. Kira asks if Julian and Sisko are with Jadzia, and she tells her that she'll explain the situation when she finds them. Kira informs her that the Defiant transporter is set to bring the three of them, with Kira and O'Brien, back to the ship in about a minute, and tells Jadzia to deactivate her com badge to avoid being picked up by the transporter at that time. Kira later does the supplemental log to say that Julian, Sisko, and Jadzia successfully made it back to the Defiant without disrupting the timeline.
