Kiralou is the femslash ship between Kirara and Nilou from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Although residing in different regions, it is said Kirara has heard about Nilou from her deliveries in Sumeru, and even once watched her performance. They meet face-to-face in the limited-time quest released in version 4.8, Summertide Scales and Tales, after they both get teleported to Simulanka. They both have important roles to play in the world, with Nilou being the Forest Fairy and Kirara being the Nekomata-in-boots, and both have new themed outfits released in the event.

They Once Walked the Starry Sky[]
Nilou, Traveler and Paimon plan to travel to Constellation Metropole by taking the Maritime Express. As they are about to get on the train, a voice is heard from inside one of the carriages. The voice turns out to be Kirara, who had slept in the train overnight. After she wakes up, Paimon introduces her to Nilou, who starts off by asking Kirara if she is Inazuman, implied from her mention of youkai. Paimon then tells Nilou Kirara is a courier for Komaniya Express, and Nilou introduces her self as a dancer under Zubayr Theatre. After a short conversation, Traveler, Paimon and Nilou leave for Constellation Metropole. Kirara decides to go aswell, to explore an area that she saw the day before. Once the train arrives, Kirara splits ways with the others to investigate the area.
Until the End of the World[]
The two cross paths again after Traveler is rescued from falling by Kirara. She lands directly on top of Traveler, causing Nilou, Navia and Paimon to stare in concern. Kirara explains she followed the group to help with fighting the dragon. Wanderer then floats back down from the sky, and everyone heads down below into a void. They land in a study, filled with letters written by the three goddesses of Simulanka. Traveler comes across a glowing book, which they open. Nilou and Kirara discuss how the book shows the dragon of Simulanka's past, Durin. They spot him hiding behind a statue, and talk him out of hiding. Durin reveals his true wish is to co-exist with the people of Simulanka, and Nilou gives him her blessing to do so. Navia, Kirara, Wanderer and Traveler all follow along to do the same. After Durin gains his new form, everyone heads back up to the island.
Fanon[]
Kiralou is quite an unpopular ship, and therefore a rarepair. A small fanbase emerged following the release of version 4.8, where the two were seen to be getting along quite quickly and well. Their designs are sometimes seen as aesthetically pleasing together, further fueled by them both gaining new outfits. Though the amount of content supporting the ship is seen as insignificant to most, and it is much preferred platonically, due to Nilou and Kirara's friendly, non-romantic interactions in-game. However, even as a friendship, Kiralou still does not get much attention from the fandom. It only has one romantic work on AO3, and one post under the ship tag on HoYoLAB.
