Kirby is a video game franchise.
Plot[]
Created by Masahiro Sakurai and developed by HAL Laboratory and Nintendo, the Kirby series follows the titular pink puffball with a heart as big as his appetite, as well as his numerous friends. Kirby lives in Dream Land, a peaceful kingdom located on Planet Popstar, which is often the target of extraterrestrial threats. More often than not, Kirby must become a hero and fight to save his home, typically while inhaling his enemies and copying their abilities. The Kirby series typically consists of platformers that are easy for beginners to get into, but with extra challenges for those who seek it. However, the Kirby series has delved into other genres such as puzzle games and racing games. The series has also received several manga adaptations, an ongoing series of light novels and even an anime that lasted 100 episodes.
