Kit x Molly is the het ship between Kit Cloudkicker and Molly Cunningham from the TaleSpin and DuckTales fandoms.

In “Plunder and Lightning”, Kit and Molly take an immediate shine to each other, with Molly jumping onto Kit’s back and him immediately carrying her in a piggyback ride.

Later, Molly is adamant in believing that Kit hasn’t truly sided with the pirates against his friends.

In “It Came From Beneath the Sea Duck”, Kit is charged with babysitting Molly while Baloo accompanies Rebecca on a shopping trip. He soon finds her to be quite a handful, but eventually has her ready to listen along to Danger Woman, her favorite radio show. Afterwards, the pair go out for ice cream, but a high speed chase ensues as Molly pursues her runaway wagon and Kit chases after her. Unfortunately, his safe return with her to the apartment does not assuage an angry Rebecca.

Later, Kit finds that a squid-like creature has invaded the Cunninghams’ apartment, and he leaps into action to protect Molly. He later swoops in on his airfoil and saves her from a dangerous fall. In “Mommy for a Day”, Kit and Molly end up riding on the back of a creature known as the Yenkara. Throughout the adventure, Kit is obviously concerned for Molly’s safety, though Molly is rather belligerent in her own opinions.

In “The Lost Cargo of Kit Cloudkicker!”, an ad for Higher for Hire shows a younger Kit riding his airfoil and holding Molly close to his side as she clings to him. Both of them wear expressions of excitement at their thrilling adventure. The pair “grew up together” and attended flight school with Della Duck, though the two girls both proved more talented pilots than Kit. Kit and Molly eventually drifted apart, he taking over the air freight business Higher for Hire while Molly started her own air circus.

After Kit falls behind on payments on his plane, the Sea Duck, Molly arrives at his dock and informs an aghast Kit that she is its new owner. However, Molly informs the downcast bear that she wants him to join her circus as well and do what he truly loves and is actually good at: cloudkicking. Kit, somewhat cheered, agrees, and the pair seal the deal with a fist bump. In “The Last Adventure!”, Kit and Molly are placed in neighboring cells in FOWL’s prison. They later stand side-by-side in the midst of Scrooge’s family and allies during the final confrontation with Bradford Buzzard.

The ship has a rather small following based on a number of factors. In TaleSpin, Kit and Molly are 12 and 6 years old respectively for the entirety of the series. Their interactions are thus entirely platonic, and many fans seem content with this arrangement. Indeed, between Kit’s adoptive father-son bond with Baloo, Molly’s status as Rebecca Cunningham’s daughter, and the ship between the adult characters, Kit and Molly are seen by many as potential future siblings. However, a few fan works do exist in which the feelings between the two change as they mature, eventually blossoming into romance.

In DuckTales, the pair interact only briefly, and the implied similarities between their childhoods in this series and TaleSpin leave many fans disinclined to see them as more than friends. Moreover, Delkit-the ship between Kit and Della Duck-has some traction due to their extended interactions and history in the episode “The Lost Cargo of Kit Cloudkicker!”
