Knickle is the slash ship between Knife and Pickle from the Inanimate Insanity fandom.

In Season 2 Episode 1, as most of the former season one contestants are partying in Hotel OJ, Knife and Pickle sit on a couch playing a video game. As Pickle informs Knife that he has to shoot his opponents rather than jump on them, Knife kills Pickle's character in the video game. The next morning when the mail arrives, Knife receives a note from Taco. Pickle tells him to burn it, not wanting her pity.
In Season 2 Episode 7, while Knife tries to make Balloon realize that people still see him the way he used to act, Balloon yells at Pickle after being insulted by him and says he's stupid for not knowing that Taco was trouble. This causes Pickle to walk away sadly, leaving Knife to remind Balloon that he still hasn't changed. Later as Pickle is gaming inside Hotel OJ, Knife walks in and asks if he can join in. Pickle is fine with it as long as he doesn't break the controller and the two then fight each other in the game. While playing, Knife comments on the photo next to Pickle that he has of him and Taco. Pickle is annoyed hearing about it and loses the game shortly afterwards, frustrating him as he gives up with the game. Knife feels bad and tells Pickle that he can't play the game that way and needs to be willing to try again. When asked what he means by this, Knife explains that if he lets one failure get to him, he'll never move on to the next stage. Pickle appreciates the advice and says to Knife that no one has been there for him lately. As Knife clarifies that he was referring to the video game, Pickle is still touched by his words. Knife, not willing to admit his concerns, tells Pickle goodbye and walks away as the two exchange a smile before Knife leaves the room.
In Season 2 Episode 11, Taco and Microphone save Knife from falling off his mine cart. After this, Taco and Knife get into an argument, in which Knife brings up Tacos previous alliance with Pickle, in which she betrayed him.
In Season 2 Episode 14, right before Microphone walks into the portal to Hotel OJ, Knife tells her to say hi to Pickle for him.
In a short titled “Seas The Day”, Pickle gives advice to Paper and quotes the same advice that Knife gave to him.
In Season 2 Episode 16, Pickle is the first character to get killed by MephoneX. When his dead corpse is shown, we also see Knifes face which is distraught and worried. Later in the episode, Knife is fighting a MeTag in Meeple headquarters and gets backed into a corner, when he gets trapped, he has a quick thought of Pickles dead corpse, where he reacts angrily and proceeds to punch the MeTag.
In Season 2 Episode 18, Knife is talking to Mephone4S and MePhone4S says “I’m the head and he’s the heart” which prompted Knife to think about Pickles dead corpse again. Knife appears distraught and Mephone4S asks if he’s okay, to which Knife says “I don’t know”. Knife starts talking about how ever since he saw Pickle’s lifeless body, he couldn’t get that image out of his head. He becomes angrier once Mephone4S says that “killing Pickle is hilarious.”, and Knife says that’s not what he means. Later in the episode, Knife partially completed the red line challenge and comes back as a ghost. Suitcase starts talking about how they won’t give up on Knife, and then Pickle walks on screen saying that none of them will. They smile as each other and afterwards, when Mephone leaves, Pickle says that he forgives Mephone, to which Knife smiles at him.

Knickle is a popular ship in the Inanimate Insanity fandom. The ship originates from the two bonding in the show by playing video games in Hotel OJ together. In this, Knife helps Pickle realize how Taco's betrayal had gotten to him and helps him get through it. Since their moments together not only showed Pickle starting to open himself up as well as Knife beginning to show compassion for a fellow person, the ship became steadily popular and well received in the fandom. Dozens of fan art and fan fiction across numerous reflect sites this and often tie in themes from their interactions, such as gaming at Hotel OJ or Knife comforting Pickle from being hurt by Taco.
The people working on the show have shown support for this ship as well, with Brian Koch stating that it is his one of his favorite ships, and that Knife would be with Pickle "in an ideal world.”Justin Chapman has also expressed their liking to the ship in a Tumblr post, and storyboard artist Cakebrunch is a known Knickle shipper (drawing multiple fan art pieces of the pairing).
Although it is one of the most popular ships for both Knife and Pickle, especially in the earlier days of the fandom, nowadays, it is somewhat overshadowed by Knifecase, the arguably more popular Knife pairing. It can also sometimes be rivaled by ships such as Trife (Trophy x Knife) and Knifan (Knife x Fan).
On AO3, there are 90+ works under their romantic tag and 16 under the platonic tag. It is the ninth most written ship for Inanimate Insanity as a whole, as well as the most written ship for both Knife and Pickle. The ship also has over 50 works under its ship name tag on Wattpad.
