Knuxang is the slash ship between Knuckles the Echidna and Fang the Hunter from the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom.

Triple Trouble[]
The two were shown in the same game, known as Triple Trouble. It’s an adventure filled game following Sonic The Hedgehog, and things get more interesting when the plot kicks off. Fang’s first appearance is in this game, and Knuckles’ first handheld game. The two are barely seen together, but media has at least noticed the fact they’re placed in the same game. So the two are associated to each other.

Shown in the comic run, Fang and Knuckles show to have a rivalry. Whether it’s the Great Chaos Caper or the Champions Arc, they are seen together once more. In the Great Chaos Caper, Knuckles and the Chaotix are seen fighting with Fang and the rest of Team Hooligan. Once matters get to the chase, both Knuckles and Fang seem to have realized they were not going the right way to the Emerald wanted. They both look at each other before separating to fight again in the series.
IDW[]

Knuckles and Fang have fights in IDW’s publishing. In Sonic The Hedgehog 30th Anniversary Special, the two are shown up with opposing sides. Being obvious, Fang gets hired by Eggman to help get rid of Sonic. And In Fang The Hunter Issue #1, Fang hunts down Knuckles for taking his crew mates. There’s also a mention of the two in battle in Knuckles’ 30th Anniversary.

Shown from the fandom, Knuxang is a respectfully small ship.
A main rival would be Rouge, mostly because many pair Knuckles and Rouge together. Rouge has more moments with Knuckles and it’s most likely the main drive. Rouge and Knuckles even tease each other in several canon media. [Though it is claimed in the fandom, that Rouge takes this ship kindly due to her positive nature.]
Fans of the ship usually take this pairing to a wholesome light. Most leaning into a power of love ordeal. You have a criminal and a guardian, there’s potential in where that leads. Using that, Knuxang is truly dedicated to what it seems to bring both characters with flaws. A pair of two misunderstood characters falling for each other.
