KonGar is the slash ship between Conner Kent and Garfield Logan from the DC Comics and Young Justice fandoms.
Canon[]
Season 2[]
ATONEMENT
Gar is starting to feel depressed when Conner suddenly walks in, completely naked. Gar looks away but remarks that Conner's awake at least. He gets Conner some food and tells him that they have the place to themselves. Conner asks how he got there, and Gar remarks on how he doesn't remember anything. Conner starts to go through what he remembers and asks if Eve is there. Gar says that she was and Conner asks what the Tower is. Gar says it's name and realizes that it sounds weird with no context. He explains that the Titans are heroes, like Conner. He calls him Superman's son, and Conner corrects him to says that he's half Lex Luthor. Gar says that nobody's perfect, and reminds him that he saved Jason. Conner remembers getting shot, and Gar goes onto explain that the Titans brought him here and that they help people. Conner says that Eve told him it was okay for him to help people, and Gar says that the most important thing is that he's awake now. Gar then remembers he's supposed to call Bruce and goes to do so.
Gar starts to show Conner around the tower, and Conner asks where everyone is. Gar says that they all had stuff they had to do and Conner asks if they're coming back. Gar says that he thinks when they realize how important the Titans are, they'll be back, and invites Conner to try the heavy back. Conner punches through it and apologizes. Gar is impressed and just tells him not to tell Dick that it was Gar.
The two play some video games, when Gar's character dies. Conner then uses his super speed to defeat the big bad, much to Gar's amazement. Gar asks how he did it, and Conner says that it was like he just knew how to beat him. Gar thinks it's amazing, and asks if Conner wants to be a Titan. Conner doesn't know if he can, since he's not an actual hero. Gar says that he is, but Conner says he has another side that comes from Lex Luthor. Gar hears him, but assures him that everyone has a bad side. He then grabs the controller and tells him to teach him not to die in the game.
Gar takes Conner out the next day, and tells Conner to think of the world as a video game where he needs to keep everyone safe. Gar asks if that's what the Titans do, and Gar says that's what the old ones did. Gar thinks that once the team knows Conner's awake they'll be back, and Conner asks Gar to show him what he does. Gar awkwardly says no and Conner asks if he can tell him. Gar tells him that he can turn into a tiger, but Conner has no idea what a tiger is. Gar gives a quick demonstration and Conner thinks it's awesome. Gar says there's more and will show him later, when someone starts calling for help. Conner goes off to save them, but if goes off the rails rather quickly.
FALLEN
Conner is approached by Krypto, who he told to go away, followed quickly by Gar. Conner tells him to stay away, but Gar follows when he tries to leave. Gar says that Conner messing with the cops ruined things for a lot of people, including him. He deserves to know what happened. Conner reminds him that he already told him what he was, it isn't his fault Gar didn't listed. Gar says that he's right, he didn't listen, but Titans don't need to be perfect. Gar admits to killing a guy once, and Conner suggests that they both should be locked up. Gar says that other people count on them to help them, but Conner thinks they shouldn't. A CADMUS truck then pulls up and Conner tells Gar to get out of there, as he starts heading towards it. Gar stops him and asks if he wants to hurt somebody else and Conner gives in as Gar tells him to move.
Gar brings Conner back to the tower, and asks if he wants something to eat. Conner says sure, and points out that CADMUS is going to keep coming after him. Gar says that they can try, but Conner says it's his mess, not Gar's. Gar says that the Titans have each other's backs, and Conner asks where the Titans are. Gar avoids it and Gar suggests that he should have called in Bruce and starts to do so. They get an alert that someone is breaking in, when several members of CADMUS swing through the windows. They fight the Swat team and Gar is taken out.
Season 3[]
BARBARA GORDON
Conner and Gar are discussing what Gizmo was involved with, with the police who thank them for what they've done for the city. One of them asks Conner for an autograph, which Conner gives. Gar asks if he wants his to, but the officer says that it's kinda hard to top a Super. Conner tells Gar that he heard the man, which Gar find unbelievable.
RED HOOD
Gar is excitedly looking through Bruce's library when he see's Conner making a sandwich on them. He tells him not to put food on the books, and asks if he was raised in a barn. Conner corrects that it was a test tube and asks if Superman has a library. Gar doesn't know, assuming that Superman's had a whole bunch of space rocks instead. Kory walks in speaking to herself in Tamarianian and the two follow her. She randomly fires on them, and Conner steps in front of Gar to blow it away.
HANK & DOVE
After Gar sends a message to Bruce, Conner asks if he thinks he'll here it. Gar's pretty sure he will, and remarks on how fast the world has turned upside down. Conner doesn't understand it either, but if Jason is killing people, they have to stop him. Gar sadly says that they don't normally go after their own.
Conner tries to build a deactivation device for Hank, and Gar asks how many tries he can do it in. Conner's not sure, but the device keeps giving him a failure rate. Gar says it has to be zero or Hank dies, and Conner "thanks" in response.
BLACKFIRE
Conner is trying to clean all the soot off of himself when Gar comes in and tells him to take a break. Conner says that he failed Hank, and that Superman wouldn't have done that. Gar tells him not to think like that, and that they did the best they could. Conner asks why Hank isn't alive then and tells him to stop with the bullshit. He thinks Gar wants to say that if he wasn't a half-breed, then he would have been able to save Hank. Gar tells him not to say that word, and Conner says that everyone is just waiting for his Lex half to take over. He says that everyone can rejoice over that, and Gar tells him not to do that to himself. Conner doesn't want advice from the "talking green tiger" and Gar says that Conner is definitely not Superman, flipping him off.
Season 4[]
SUPER SUPER MART
Gar and Conner sit beside one another during breakfast, and Gar smiles as Conner defends Superman against Jinx's claims that the hero is afraid of magic. Both of them pull disbelieving and frustrated faces at what Jinx says.
As the Titans are investigating the Asylum they find themselves surrounded by zombies summoned by Mother Mayhem. As those capable of it start to fight them, Conner tries to prevent the zombies from getting inside a caged room that Rachel, Tim, Sebastian and Jinx are within, and asks for Gar's help fighting them. Gar jumps to his aid and the two fight beside one another against warms of zombies, mirroring Dick and Kory. Conner asks Gar how many people work at the store the asylum is beneath, referencing the zombies, and Gar replies "too many."
After fleeing the zombies once Jinx freezes the hoards in place, the Titans come across a zombified Deathstroke whom Conner fights. When Conner decapitates Deathstroke's corpse, Gar cheers and gives Conner an enthusiastic thumbs up, however when he sees Deathstroke reattach his head and pursue Conner again, he gives a thumbs down in horror. Conner is stabbed and Gar helps get him to cover, worried and says he didn't know Conner could bleed: to which Conner replies that he didn't know he could either. Once they successfully escape and make it back S.T.A.R Labs, Gar notices Conner is still hurting from being stabbed and asks if he is okay, but Conner brushes him off as he runs to the bathroom to be sick. When Conner returns, Gar checks in with him again and Conner lies, smiling at Gar and telling him he's fine, and although skeptical Gar concedes.
INSIDE MAN
Conner is infected with parasitic snakes inside himself due to Mother Mayhem's curse on him. She uses him to attempt to kidnap Sebastian but is interrupted by the Titans who incapacitate him for everyone's safety. With Conner strapped down to a table using Kryptonite cuffs, the Titans work to find a way to get the snakes out of Conner without killing him. Gar comforts Conner when he says he's frightened, and is upset when Mother Mayhem's influence causes Conner to mock them and bring up the death of Hank Hall; who died as they attempted to save his life in a similar fashion to now. Gar uses anesthesia to knock the possessed Conner out.

In order to save Conner's life, Gar volunteers to transform into a virus that will attack the snakes within Conner while leaving Conner unharmed. Gar and Bernard warn Dick that if Conner dies, then so will Gar, and that they do not know how Gar will get out of Conner once he's gone: he could end up stuck inside Conner. As a virus, Gar enters Conner's body and is able to destroy the snakes within him, although the process is graphic and painful. Conner survives, and with Bernard's help is able to reform into a human again in a tub filled with a pale red liquid.
BROTHER BLOOD
Traumatized by what happened, Conner starts to try and emulate Lex Luthor's side of his personality more and shaves his head. Gar asks the others how Conner is once more, and looks upset hearing the uncharacteristic nickname Conner gave Tim, "Home slice", and is the only one who doesn't laugh when Jinx remarks that Conner had flirted with her. When Conner reveals his new look to the Titans, Gar immediately points out that something had "happened to [Conner's] head", and visibly dislikes the changed Conner. He corrects Conner when he calls their home, San Francisco, "Cisco".
Later, after Gar experiences another vision, he hears Conner's voice talking to him right after and responds, thinking Conner is in the stairwell with him. When he looks up he sees that Conner isn't there, and a few moments later is horrified when his friend walks through the doors and repeats the phrase Gar had just precognitively heard: "looks like you're not all the way back yet, are you?". Instead of replying the second time, Gar watches Conner leave while crying. When Conner is insulting each of the Titans over their worth on the team and what they are contributing, after Dick questions his behavior, he only remarks briefly on Gar's mental state, however it is in a derogatory manner.
The Titans discover Conner had gone rogue and gone after Mother Mayhem alone, intent on avenging his 'father' Lex, when Rachel and Jinx used the magic of clairvoyance to find where her stolen powers were being kept, and saw Conner tied up in the Temple of Azarath. As they launch a rescue, for both Conner and Rachel's stolen powers, Gar stops to reassure Krypto that they will get Conner back. When Sebastian turns into the villain Brother Blood, Gar's vision comes true and he teleports himself to the Red, while Conner and the other Titans disappear under the force of what appears to be Sebastian's powers.

Lex Luthor
- Gar and Conner are teamed up in a bowling game. Conner defends Gar using his powers to bowl better and the pair share a high five with Gar's arm morphed into an octopus tentacle.
- Conner is excited for Gar when he tries out his new suit, and afterwards tells Gar what forms he took.
- When Conner is meeting with Lex, Gar is withdrawn and sullen with Conner gone.
Mother Mayhem
- Gar and Conner play Uno with Rachel and Tim.
Super Super Mart
- Gar and Conner are sat next to each other at the table.
- Conner asks for Gar's help fighting the zombies.

Caul's Folly
- Gar saves Conner's life from a death world along with the other Titans.
- Conner angrily mentions Mercy Graves' crimes against himself and Gar from season 2, and that she never paid for what she'd done to them.

- Conner and Gar carry on one another's sentences as they explain Project Starfire to the Titans.

Fanon[]
KonGar has a small following in the DC fandom overall, but has many followers in the Titans fandom. Fans of the two ship them due to the fact that Gar was the first real relationship Conner had on the show, with the pair's first episode spent bonding and growing closer, including some deleted scenes involving a pin ball machine, and the chemistry shared by the actors on screen. In the show's third season, fans of the ship were initially intrigued when Conner's actor, Joshua Orpin, referenced Conner exploring his sexuality however corrected himself in subsequent interviews that this was not going to be with Gar and that he had misspoken (given the idiom is typically used in reference to same sex exploration), as he was instead referring to the sexual relationship Conner develops with Kory's sister, Blackfire. During season 3, Conner initially protects Gar from Koriand'r when a trance state causes her to attack him, but their relationship takes more tremulous turn as they argue following the death of a teammate and Conner does not take Gar's attempt at comfort well, and after beginning a relationship with Blackfire, Gar is at times shown frowning as he watches the couple. In the first episode, both fans of the ship and non-shippers were amused by an interaction between the pair and a police officer, in which an innuendo joke is shared that "nothing tops a super", which Gar revisits mockingly later on in the season. Fans were also excited by show writer Richard Hatem liking many GarKon tweets, both in general and in reference to the joke, despite nothing coming of it.
In the show's fourth and final season, fans of the ship were pleased to see their relationship had repaired somewhat, and the pair were often shown together either interacting directly or choosing to sit with one another. Conner sought out Gar's help during fights and Gar even risked his life to save Conner's, accepting easily that he might die if Conner does or simply get trapped inside him as a virus, and some fans interpreted his line to Dick about if it were him would he have hesitated, as asking what Dick would do if it were Kory. Once again, the innuendo of Gar being inside Conner was not lost on both shippers and non-shippers, and many "mpreg" jokes were shared around, even by Orpin on Instagram [1], when Conner's belly appeared pregnant due to the body horror-esque cursed snake put there by Mother Mayhem. Fans of the ship also noted that Conner's insult, while using his Luthor persona, about Gar was considerably tamer than those he had for the other Titans.
Following Ryan Potter's twitter post, in which he responds to a fan tweet that Gar is straight (which has since been deleted), saying that Gar is bisexual [2], fans of the ship were hopeful that this detail might be canonized on the show and with Conner.
They are the most popular non-Bat family slash ship in Titans and fourth most popular slash ship when Batfam ships are included.
Actress Teagan Croft, who plays Rachel Roth, has stated she ships them.[3]
