KrisTeen is the non-binary ship between Kris and Monster Kid from the Deltarune fandom.

Canon

Kris and Monster Kid both live in Hometown. They go to the same class, but what relationship they had beyond that is unclear.

Chapter 1

When Kris shows up late for school just as Alphys announces that they are doing group projects this month, they are looking through their classmates to try and get a good partner for their project. Asking Monster Kid has them scold Kris for not showing up on time. Monster Kid would've liked to partner with Kris, but since they arrived too late, they had to settle on partnering with Snowy. They confide in Kris that they find Snowdrake somewhat annoying. When Kris talks to them again, Monster Kid tells them how lucky they think Kris is, saying that they'd rather be partnerless than having to put up with Snowy's antics. However, when Susie shows up even later, Alphys forces her to partner with Kris, as everyone else already had a partner. Talking to Monster Kid again has them show concern for Kris, admitting that they are scared of Susie.

After Kris goes missing with Susie for the day, Kris can find Monster Kid near Snowdrake's house. Monster Kid will greet them in a friendly manner, joking that Kris "survived" Susie. Though Monster Kid had never seen Susie beat anyone up, they still warn Kris about her, telling a story of Susie stalking them playing handball with their friends, then kicking the ball into Undyne's police car and getting them in trouble. Monster Kid summarizes the story by telling Kris that they think Susie sucks. However, when Kris approaches them again, Monster Kid notes that Kris looks annoyed and asks them if they are all right. Their attempt at calming them down by telling them that Susie can't hurt them anymore only leads to Kris getting even more annoyed.

Chapter 2

Kris and Monster Kid don't get much chance to interact in the second chapter, since Kris is immediately sitting down due to being late yet again and wrapped into a conversation by Susie when class starts.

When Kris and Susie are taking a stroll through Hometown in the late afternoon, they find Snowdrake and Monster Kid near the old bunker in the south. Eavesdropping on them has them find out that Snowy dared Monster Kid to find out what's inside, but Monster Kid is genuinely scared and brings up Kris. But when Snowy insults Kris as a "weenie" to tell Monster Kid to not be like them, Susie stands up for Kris by spooking them to turn around. When Snowy tries to backspace, Susie kicks the door of the bunker to send the two of them running.

Fanon

KrisTeen is a rarepair in the Deltarune fanbase, though it shows up fairly often on fanmade tierlists. It is consistently ranked as a C-tier ship, indicating that very few people have strong opinions on it, most likely due to the lack of interaction between them.

One of the reasons fans might ship them is because they are the only two canonically non-binary kids in Hometown, which causes some to think that they stand in solidarity towards oneanother. Another is that players shipped Frisk Kid in Undertale, with KrisTeen being considered an equivalent ship or a "high school" variant.
